They are wooden boats, so won’t do any harm, they are left there for little nature reserves now. So sad to see them in such condition, to think they were used through two wars, so much history and then left to rot 😔 Thanks Zona xx

Hi Tony, we loved it at the Two Boats, the food was lovely! In fact, we loved both of the pubs, the Blue Lias with their amazing flower displays was just stunning and we really enjoyed that boot sale! Have a great time Friday and let them know that we really enjoyed our stay at those moorings and the numerous meals we had there too! Yes you’re right Dave, I lost a walkie talkie from that very spot and I don’t usually put it there now. I had been holding it and only put it there briefly while I did that little piece to camera. Won’t happen again 😊 My Go Windlass is a ratchet one and I’ve really missed using it, but like you said, our other regular windlasses were fine, although I had trouble getting the windlass off of the spindle, it kept getting stuck! @@JulieandMartinonRIB Not you Julie. I had the same problem with those locks. A bit embarassing sometimes when you have to resort to a hammer to get your windlass back 🙂

@@JulieandMartinonRIB That's our thing here in Indiana. Sometimes it's very close and it's always a matter of pure luck. Last year there were two that were VERY close. My sister worries about hurricanes, a friend in Hawai'i lives near a volcano and, of course, in the west there are earthquakes, extreme heat and wild fires. Nature can be very scary.

Lol, neither could we, we had been calling Martin ‘Martin Two Boats’ all day, so when we saw the pub name it was just so funny! And then when my sister sent that card for Martin’s birthday and it had that picture on it, we just couldn’t believe it! There was no name for the picture, but it’s definitely the same one! Hi Edward, ooh a thunderstorm, lucky you! Now that’s one thing we do love, a good thunderstorm, but sadly they seem to miss us! There were a few rumblings yesterday and it got very dark and we started getting excited for a good storm, but it just blew over and we didn’t even get a drop of rain! 🤷‍♀️ Martin did do a good job with driving both boats didn’t he, and yes, those strawberries were lovely, we had them with my homemade ice-cream! 😋 Have a great weekend too Edward, thank you so much! xx
