Thx for the vid and your many thoughts on the subject I used these waffle-"things" for a couple of trips when they were introduced. My main problem with these pads is condensation. I always got moisture - heavy moisture - In the "holes" under me. Wet sleeping bag is a drag. Now I stick with a 190x60x1,4cm. Weighs 460g. Cheap, indestuctible and comfortable

air rifle in .50 cal is more than enough to take down or at least severely injure unarmored person. I never had problems with knife carrying here in slovenia , but we have lax laws regarding knives (for now at least), but air rifles above 20J are no go, unless you have weapons permit (which negate whole thing of getting air rifle because i dont need permits for it).i cant speak for Belgium, but i think throughout the Europe PMR(446Mhz) is legal band for those handheld transreceivers , as long as they have non removable antenna and are under 0.5W. you can also own ANY Ham radio (analog or DMR) and use it as long as its on receive only, but need license to transmit (unless in danger of dying, that's exempt from persecution) . Although if Martial law, any transceiver will be deeed illegal (be it PMr, Ham, LoRa, GMRS/FRS...) so it doesnt really matter, does it? imho best option is LoRa/LoraWAN (mobile one of course) that runs on ~900mhz (still legal in europe) and can be relocated in few minutes if have to. paired with meshtatic network (or any similar one) should greatly expand reach (although for now its txt only ).

A few things...Very Important: when cleaning Bottles, Put the Lid in boiled water to Kill the Bacteria on the inner rings and mouth piece. The only advantage of a bladder, that i see, is for those in Hot Zones with water sources too far apart. Gravity bags are cheaper.... We buy the granulated ice tea from Lidl. Last year's opened. Or we brew a couple black tea bags and add sugar and lemon juice then chill Peppermint tea chilled with or without sugar is a refreshing summer drink

This is the only video I’ve come across using a folding bike for preppers. You got the right idea. I’m in Northern California, and my wife works about 45 miles away from our house in Sacramento. She’s not into prepping like me, but she supports me, and just kinda chuckles. She has hard copy maps of how to get home in case roads are cut off. Her car is outfitted with a “get home” bag, water, hot/cold weather gear, and finally a fold up bike is the last item. Thank you for taking the time to produce this video. Why bother with powdered tea when you can have the real thing with little to no weight or volume penalty? Many flavors available too. As to coffee, freeze dried and likely powdered coffee are usually made from Robusta coffee beans which are inferior to Arabica beans which comprise most brewing coffees. Some Robusta beans are used in brew coffee as well but in cheap coffees like Walmart store brand. You have to consider what you're actually getting when choosing coffee. There are small portable coffee makers which use conventional ground coffee. So you see, it isn't so simple to compare.

Bring only the coffee.... Thee is abundant in nature like pine needle thee....... Nettle thee. Ok the tastes of thee are limited but these will give you lots of vitamins.And dandelion thee as well and when you drink the thee you can eat the dandelion.

Why not bring both? They are Light weight. Different times of the year, i drink more of 1 than the other. Lol yah bathroom breaks are necessary for both. (Freeze dried)

Better to have tree a pruning saw, bow saw and a couple of Hatchett. Axes are good too. My favorite survival/ camping saw is what's called in the U.S.A. Is a: Wyoming Saw! The Wyoming Saw is portable and can be disassembled and stored in a belt to be worn around your waist or placed in a backpack. The storage belt has pockets for the saw and room for extra saw blades. Wyoming Saws have been used by wilderness hunters for years. The storage belt should have at least 2 wood cutting blades and 1 bone cutting blade. Wood cutting blades will provide all your firewood and shelter building needs. The bone cutting blades will help with butchering and processing large game animals for food and transport. The Wyoming Saw, a hatchet/ax, assorted fire making tools, sharpening stones and knives will make camping and survival more comfortable 😀 Hope these help folks!
