I dunno man, the thing I thought of immediately when you mentioned this app is ai bros making accounts to scrape all the art they can find and using it anyway. I don’t know how it’s any better if your goal is not getting your art stolen, it seems like it’s just a new hunting ground for these people.

so glad you decided to talk about this! i totally agree with what your saying about your feed being mindless non-art garbage, I want to see inspiring, creative works from underrated artists, not AI or rage bait. I think Cara has a lot of potential, considering so many artists are trying it out! i love seeing art friendly spaces, just areas of the internet where we can all share our creative juices lol. However, i do agree with a “con” being talked about which is the reach Cara can have. Instagram has a LOT of people on it from all different communities, which is great for getting people to see to ur art! But with Cara being exclusively artists it has less reach, i think it’s good to have non-artists to see and interact with your art. This issue could go away once more people join the app, but right not it seems like a goof portfolio/ way to meet new artists, rather than a way to grow a following.
