Thank you for all the great information. I am getting ready to paint my house and would like a white that is warm but not yellow. I am considering William and Sherman Greek Villa but your color seems very soft on the eyes. I think I want to sample it. Can you clarify a couple of things ? 1. You have a washable flat on your personal walls, is that the same as eggshell finish? 2. Your favorite is OC18, is that the color on your walls in the room you are sitting? 3. What is the color of the walls on the white bedroom with the fireplace at approx 12:20? Thank you in advance.

I have tried to use those paper towel holders, but my husband won't use them. I was the only one putting the roll on the holder. I will look for a champagne holder at the estate sales, etc. I do keep my spare toilet paper in a beautiful chamber pot. It has a blue floral design and I found it on sale at a local antique shop where I used to live. 👍😀

I'd like to see a home that has mostly traditional furniture in it. All that's been shown on this channel so far has been mostly contemporary furniture, lighting, etc.and very little traditional. If it's coming back in style, where is it? 🤔

I'd like to see that dressing room in ten years. The effects of the humidity and mildew from the bathroom will be a real battle to control! Doesn't look very practical to me!

My favorite countertop material is no longer being made, unfortunately. It was the old, durable formica that was very slightly bumpy and you could do anything on it. My mother-in-law had it in her kitchen. You could roll out cookie or pie dough on it, you could get tea, coffee, cranberry juice, grape juice, even mustard on it. All you had to do was to gently scrub it with a soft paste of Bon-Ami, rinse it well until it was no longer gritty and the countertop looked brand new! Keep in mind she had a sort of ivory color, so to look brand new, it was really durable. No stone is as durable as that formica was and the newer formica scratches and stains too easily. I wish I had that old formica in my own kitchen! 🙈

I love the traditional, darker cherry and mahogany furniture, like Queen Anne and Chippendale styles. I also love blue willow plates and blue and white Chinese porcelain, as well as some Imari and some green celadon porcelain. I'm so glad my style is coming back!!! 👍😀

Extremely informative video. I needed this information and I thank you. The details you provided were so helpful. I live in Nevada between Reno & Tahoe. We get extreme heat and snow, my friends have solid wood and tile to look like wood, but I’m leaning towards engineered wood. We live in a nice gated community and I worry my decision could bring my re-sale value down which will be in about 10 years. Do you have any thoughts on this matter? Thank you again for your video.

You notice an important thing with the wine bottle: I've seen this in a tv show when a couple put themself in a renovation show saying "oh, we dont have the money to finnish the renovation" while also talking about trips to USA, Japan, Europe. The audacity. Normal people limit their entertainment budget to invest in the house. I didn't like that one bit.

This is what I want for my small home, to feel joy, when walking into a room & just looking at a calm space of the simple things I love, TY for posting, you are so inspiring!

You will be told not to plan. Not to get a designer…since the contractor is a designer (total dangerous lie), then you will find yourself in crisis with remodel indecision. Your place will look like hell, and you will be robbed. So, the first thing is to work on a layout, but don’t let a salesperson push you into it. Think about it, and price everything out so you know what you can afford, and then decide. People will try and get you to do it backwards because it’s easiest for them, then blame YOU for the chaos.
