    what a speedy progress for the marine viaduct on the jb side as well as the Sunway's launching girder close to the marine viaduct! it would be faster if the final pier close to the marine viaduct at the Stulang promenade is built earlier, thus completing the viaduct works at the marine viaduct boundary. it's great for you to show us the precasting yard for the segmental girder boxes used in the rts project and the coordination of transporting the girders to the site through traffic. you can show us how the precast girder segments are produced at the yard alongside The Biannual Travellers who is also doing the monthly RTS update in the future. hopefully, you can try out the new KTM ETS extension to Segamat in the future and later further extended to Kluang and Kempas stage by stage in the near future.

    When I was small (before the 1980s), we ate only the skin of the Peking duck, so was the suckling pig. The skin was very thin and crispy and no meat attached. The naked duck was then sold to the kitchen staff. I remember once when I was at my friend's house, his father came home with a naked Peking duck. He said he bought it for $1.00 from a Chinese restaurant. Then in the 1990s, the restaurant would also serve the meat fried after we had savoured the skin.

    with the opening of the new mrt line to the east coast, it is so much easier for all of us to explore the region including me who will be looking forward to try out the new line in July as part of the Awal Muharram long weekend in Malaysia. here are the places accessible from these new stations: 1) Tanjong Rhu Promenade overlooking the Kallang Stadium and Reservoir via the Tanjong Rhu station 2) Fort Tanjong Katong and the colourful Mindanao Gum eucalyptus tree at Katong Park and Keppel Desalination Plant at Marina East via the Katong Park station 3) Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple and Eurasian Heritage Gallery along Ceylon Road via Haig Walk, Peranakan Houses along Koon Seng Road, Conserved Terrace Houses along East Coast Road, Parkland Green Coastal Playgrove and Road Safety Community Parks at East Coast Park via Marine Parade station. we can try out the famous Katong Laksa along East Coast Road opposite the Katong Plaza mall. 4) Siglap Linear Park and KPMG Wellness Garden, Singapore Water Park’s Lagoon and Xtreme Skate Park at East Coast Park via Siglap Station I'm looking forward to visit the Newater Centre close to the Bedok South station once the TEL5 opens in 2026.

    Wow! The construction seems to be advancing pretty well. That's great! [unrelated] why does Singapore has so many extra large 6 lane roads?! With the metro line now coming I strongly hope for the city to reconsider it's urban design choices. Sg shouldn't be only for the wealthy car-owners. The city should reduce the width of many of its roads and instead increase the size of sidewalks/pavements and build PROTECTED bike lanes (DO NOT just paint in the road and call it a bike lane!). This will naturally discourage people from using cars and chose the bike or public transport instead. Look at the Netherlands and France for inspiration on good practices in design that makes our cities more livable

      @SGYap Před 12 dny
