@@TheTrueFeleas ah yes. Gems are not super important as they “enhance” the spells and don’t fundamentally change them :) Spell choice and weapon choice is more important

@@datriadx18 yes! However I find it is hard to land for new players. Which is why I included Reaper as a more advanced option for this build :)

Utilizing only one weapon is a bad choice overall. Reaper Q is great, but so is Slasher E. By mixing and matching different weapon abilities, you create an easier time for yourself. Pistols for keeping midrange, reaper Q and slasher/greatsword E (greatsword E because it's an )

I really like the chaos one, that leaves a line of AoE on the ground. Chaos orbs is likely stronger DPS, but the crowd control you get from the barrage spell (forget it's name) is so useful. I remember that's how I first beat Nicholaus. Using that spell and Ice nova, so I had AoE to take on the adds, and the boss. Without AoE, that boss is tough.

@@DadOfWar86 I had the same experience in 1.0, as had forgot about the boss. I tried it a couple of times, kept dying, came back with Ice Nova, and won. AoE is so important, as so many adds. I'm sure people can do it without, maybe even kiting the skellies, but way easier when you can hit them all. In fact I used the chaos AoE that leaves a trail, too (was the exact same loadout in EA though, as the memory came back to me, while fighting with this set up)

if it comes to pvp my fav combo is gs Q into mace E into bow charged shot, just enough time of incapacitate to charge 1 sec of bow and deal 100% dmg

@@DadOfWar86 no my keybinds for spells are default for spells,for hotbar its 1 Lshift 3 4 midmouse mousebutton4 V B and mouse button 5 for ability cancel

@@Romeo-vt8hq focus on dodging his abilities. Getting comfortable with his fight moves and dodging them is half the success my friend :)

@@mithranruwodoalvisbeseitri9811 well extra speed makes you a harder target and extra lol shield helps to stay alive. This however is primarily a PvE build :)

@DadOfWar86 PvE it works on most bosses but some of the later ones which have tons of AoE especially those priests ones are a pain with this built, tho I did try it, beats most bosses

I used GreatSword for Adam Firstborn build. Wanted to try something different with Slashers

@@DadOfWar86 honestly the slashers are beyond amazing! I've been using them to stun lock players out of ults, then swapping to spear or pistol combo for premium damage. Greatsword knock up to that legendary pistol double tap ignite shot is another I've been doing. It doesn't provide nearly as much dps, but GOT DAMN IS IT SEEEXY! 😭 Just getting a feel for all the swaps and combos outside of the current meta just to challenge myself and see what I can pull off.

Legendary pistol Q (allows you to slowly move when you fire) is a game changer :) I need to give spear a go, I am not a big fan of its Q ability :(
