要想了解黑神话悟空的剧情背景，就不得不提他们2013年的游戏《斗战神》，这个游戏前期是非常成功的，虽然是网游，但西游个故事背景以及剧情塑造的非常成功，因为前期投入巨大，企鹅投资方为了快速收回成本，将游戏改成氪金模式，导致游戏主创集体出走，他们走前最后一章故事情节是白骨夫人，玩家称之为：白骨之后无西游！这些主创正是现在的游戏科学！而当年斗战神的剧情也不是完全根据《西游记》背景叙述的，多数引用的是今何在写的《悟空传》，这本书完全颠覆了西游记的人物关系，黑神话悟空的剧情大部分会延续斗战神的故事，所以，要猜这个游戏的剧情背景，就要去看《悟空传》，另外说一下有个电影版的《悟空传》，但拍的太烂了，跟原著差别太大！ 还有就是博主在视频里讲述老蜘蛛的时候漏了关键一点就是天上一日地上一年，她等的人去了天上，天上一天的日子就是地界一年的时间，这是老蜘蛛衰老的主要原因：是时间和思念！说明老蜘蛛和囚犯很多年前相爱的，根据西游记和悟空传都常用的一个时间数，那就是500年！另外，根据悟空传写到大闹天宫的是孙悟空，取经路上被唐僧赶走后，后面取经的是六耳猕猴，极大可能就是“天命人”，之前的预告片也出现了2个悟空！

Wukong's achievement in the original journey to the west was stolen by an imposter monkey who almost killed him. This game is about the rebooted journey to the west by Wukong himself. The yaoguai enemies in the original journey may become his friends or his lovers and his friends and helpers in the original journey may become his enemies in the new journey. This cutscene shows that one of the seven spiders originally killed by Wukong becomes his lover, but one of her daughters is still his enemy. The centipedes, Shibo of the girls, who was originally killed by one of Wukong's men, still hates Wukong. To keep her human shape, the old lady needs to eat men regularly. But if she married Wukong, she will be able to keep her human shape permanently. When she is about to marry Wukong, the centipedes comes to mess them up. The old lady finally becomes back a spider and she commands Wukong to leave. The next scene will be Wukong killing the centipedes.

Hey i had many assumptions for this. first : was that what if someone strong enemy who could swap bodies with wukong because he wanted to kill him and because of being immortal he couldn't kill him so he swapped bodies with wukong and made him kinda confused so as in the monkey body wukong is right know no one lnows him but still call him destined one because his works are like the one who was destined to do that and ya one more thing is that when he was going to kill that boss monster then the fake monkey in the monkey king's body stopped by the staff glowed because that staff came in contact with the real monkey king soul and the reason why the another monkey swapped his body with monkey king is to kill him in mortal body and by doing that he could live in mo key king body forever. 2nd: is what if the destened one is someone who is a 3rd person spectator kinda guy that knows what will happen in future and is doing everything because it needs to be done so that the monk, monkey king and his 2 friends could be teached about what they're lacking so thats why he fights with everyone so that he could guide those monsters to fight with monkey king so that both Parties could get benefitted as Monkey king and crew could get more knowledge and enlightenment from their journey and those monster could shift from their villan path to change their destiny so that they could end their life cycle or reincarnation journey and could get peace as the whole journey to the west is a well plotted journey that teaches all of us a valuable lesson as Buddha could have given those scriptures to the monk to spread all over china and world by he didn't instead he said to go on a journey to the west as they all could get enlightened and valuable life lessons as the more we know the less we know and after the end of their journey they could teach more by what happened in their journey and give us wise words I think this might be possible.

Although Journey to the West is a story about collecting Buddhist Scriptures, it is undoubtedly a story all about Confucian values. So I think you are missing the point of the original story and the potential point of the game. In Confucian philosophy there is a deep puzzle. Confucians believe that human nature is good but that belief cannot explain who so many people do bad things. The Confucian explanation for this is that human beings can actually be twisted by their environment and often act against their better nature. This is what the game is referring to when it says good people that don't decern between good and bad become allies of evil. The purpose of Confucians is find ways to build society so that it doesn't turn people away from their base good nature. So when Confucians believe that human nature is good it doesn't mean they think that the world is automatically good but that it always has the potential to be good. Now how does this relate to the game. The original story of Journey to the west basically accepts uncritically that order is good. The Jade emperor and the Buda are the recognized order therefore they are good. Wu Kong although he is charismatic is not good because he is rebellious and a source of chaos. The book tantalizes us with the sexy aspects Wu Kong's character which is his honesty, bravery, freedom and loyalty but then tells us unequivocally that these are actually all frivolous traits and that to truly become good WU Kong has to submit to order. The Game is hinting stronger and stronger that it will be taking the counter point to this argument. It will critically examine order and argue in favor of Chaos as the force for good in the story.

The original Journey to the West is actually a Confucian Moral tale. Wu Kong, while he is extremely charismatic, is a force for chaos. The point of the story is to show that simply being likable is not enough to be good. To be truly good one has to be orderly and purge chaos from oneself. It is a moral tale of how Wu Kong purged chaos from himself and fell in line with the perceived order. For Wu Kong Black Myth to really shine it has to present a counter argument to the original story. To show that order is not always right. That Chaos can be right and order can be wrong.

Herd the story could be based on sun luzhen...or a story that was similar to the lego monkey king series

What am I looking the most forward to Black Myth Wukong? Probably a longer take on the 1986 theme song. The trailers tease it too much.

They aren't fond of the fairy tale-like happy ending in the original story. With "Black Myth: Wukong" set after the events of "Journey to the West," things become even more interesting. What has become of the places Sun Wukong and his team once passed through? Have the enemies they defeated returned? Are the good people they once saved still good, or have they fallen and become monsters?

There has been a theory that the Player Monkey might be Sun Luzhen, from the “Later Journey to the West”. In that novel Sun Wukong himself put the Circlet on Luzhen to subdue him after his own Raid on heaven. Sun Wukong helps Luzhen achieves his own enlightenment and eventually fuses with him at the end of that Book. Sounds interesting and it lines up with most of the games lore.

The possible theory is that the player is truly sun wukong but you can say he lost his memory and power and the one we see which we think is the monkey king is like the manifestation of what left of his memory in a physical form and it was so strong that people thought that they are two different monkey but they both are the same the one is which is the player is the real sun wukong while the other is basically his what left of his memory and how he was like before he lost his memory and the proof is that in the first trailer when the player wanted to kill that wolf then got stop by the monkey king we see his eye began to shine then we see some events that most of us know that happened in the book like sun wukong fighting the heaven and other things this was seem like that player regain the memories and it could be possible if the player is the real wukong and that something might happened him that made him lose his memory especially in so many trailer we saw several statue of buddha with their head cutoff implying that something happened to buddhas thus why the world is in chaos and of course this include wukong since he became a buddha as well

I think the old monkey is the real Sun Wukong and the one with the golden armor the six eared macaque but we will have multiple ending of the story so everything can change by our choices

The theory about Karmic Cycles could be somewhat accurate. All the enemies shown in the newest trailer are just "golden" forms of previously shown enemies, so that could potentially mean something.
