Definitely a copper with nothing else better to do. However it a naughty plate. And just about being in the wrong place at the wrong time sadly. It happens.

More money than sense, it's no hardship to comply with something so simple. No pity here.

Police up to no good as per usual. Nothing more then revenue collectors. Stopping the biker all for a number plate. Meanwhile 10 mins down the road a poor mans bike is getting stolen. But don't worry just call 111 for a crime reference number. Stop wasting peoples time. All that trustee wanted to do is gain contract with the biker and extract money from him. Why fine him???

Dear Mr Policeman, I trust this illegal numberplate and non road legal exhaust will enable you to have a reason to pull me over and check my insurance, MOT, tyres, VIN, lights, etc, etc. I really don't understand why people wish to make it so easy to be pulled over.

Bad luck but….asking to get pulled with a non legal plate. Easy ticket for old bill. We all did it as kids though. Just think, when you ride along with the smaller number plate fitted, no one looks and thinks to themselves, hell that bike looks sooo much better for a small plate. £100 now? Sod that!

And its illegal for a Motorcycle to go onto the mini roundabouts you must go around them Your not doing to well maybe you should do some advanced training

Its no worse than the 70s and 80s when the roads were full of bully boy sergeants and constables on bikes and in cars. We were stopped for fun in those days. Hard to find a traffic cop today....other than bike and car meets😢.

Oh - I see format of plate is altered to read like your channel name - altering numberic and alphas. Stono On !!! In U.K. I see many letterbox number plates - especially on Harley’s and thought 🤔

yeah its in the highway code :) If you have an accident on one and you are treating it like a right turn and cut across it, the other vehicle will claim that if you had gone around it as you should there would be no issue. Remember people expect you to go around it not over it and will judge if they can make it before you on that premise. Lots of risk to you not going round it. Highway code blurb. "Mini-roundabouts. Approach these in the same way as normal roundabouts. All vehicles MUST pass round the central markings except large vehicles which are physically incapable of doing so"

As I understand it, you should go around a mini roundabout if your vehicle is capable of negotiating the manoeuvre. Obviously, a large articulated lorry couldn't do it because of its turning circle and a motorcyclist could argue that the mini roundabout was too tight to complete it correctly/safely. That's what I tell myself anyway.

Legal plate and exhaust all the time for me. Don't want to give them the satisfaction of ticketing me. I live near Matlock Bath in Derbyshire. It's like shooting fish in a barrel for the wonderful Derbyshire Constabulary - they set up traffic stops regularly from Spring onwards. Never seen a car pulled in..... Locals complain all the time to the police about 'bikers', so the police react, and aim in effect to discourage motorcyclists from visiting Matlock Bath by these actions. Get stopped often enough and you'll go elsewhere. I'm no fan of loud cans. As a rule, doesn't make the bike any more powerful, makes it more tiring if you do a lot of miles (like me), and pisses off the locals. Stealth is the name of the game. I do a lot of riding with 6am starts. People deserve their peace.

I genuinely couldn’t give a toss if you ride over them or not but didn’t it ever occur to you that a roundabout is a roundabout and the correct way to navigate it is to go round it, not across the middle?

Don’t understand the dicks that buy the illegal plates. Why wouldn’t get a normal plate and avoid the inconvenience of being stopped and disrupting your day. It’s also a fine of 60 quid…! verses the 15 quid for a proper plate, that will last you for years, it’s a no brainer. Thick as fuck.

That's crazy, I didn't know I couldn't drive over the painted round about, I do it all the time, there are 4 on my route, never once have I heard I couldn't do this, I've even been followed by numerous emergency services. Never once been stopped or spoken to about it. Never even seen or heard of anyone been pulled for it... must be one of them laws that exist but isn't enforced. But then I'm only on cbt, only started riding August, mental I have to teach myself how to ride correctly. No instructor to tell me how to handle things.

Mate i really wouldn't worry or be bothered about some sad sack with too much time on their hands quoting the highway code, you go on any motoring channel on utube and your,l find them trying to act all high and mighty and disapproving of others , they have no life so think everyone wants to hear there pointless veiws..but on the positive you learnt two thing's , people can be ahol£s and dont bother listening to them to much.😂

I with you re the painted roundabouts. How many times have you went around the roundabout and some idiot has straight lined it almost knocking you off the bike? I think there is far too much paint on the UK roads and some of it is utterly pointless and just a measure to control and restrict traffic flow

What makes my P155 boil is there are so many cars with miss-spaced letters & no £100 fines for them
