My son has been suspended from our local public school here on the sunshine coast twice this year. I feel like the mainstream school does not want son to attend their school.
My son was diagnosed last week. Age 2. He has 6 siblings ages 17 to 7. I am seaeching for videos/training , advice, anything that will help them understand how to help him/treat him while playing or watching him around the house.
I’m so grateful for AQ it has really changed my life at home and in school without AQ I don’t know what I would have done or where I would go with my life so I’m so grateful for everyone jax, Izzy, Cathy, penny, everyone I’m really grateful and you all mean so much to me
"His favorite color is green. He likes green peas." WHAT OTHER COLOR ARE THEY?!
I'm an adult i have asd and i sent this to my grandma because i want her to understand me more but this makes me feel so sad
I'm autistic 46 years old. Diagnosed at age 2. People don't understand me. No friends . Love toys. Lots of people love me. Try hard to hug me. But love being alone and love going out to look at toys. Bye
Nothing wrong with loving to look at toys ! As long as you know your loved❤

Ned's got a big sick
I have autism too. I know how he feels.😢
I’m autistic myself. Also, holy crap, Hugo Weaving!
I'm still trying to put my finger on it, but as I watch these "intro to autism" videos, I can't help but sense that something is a little ... off ... about them. Perhaps part of the problem is the focus on children ... I only fully realized I have autism about three weeks ago, and all of the sudden a *lot* of workplace behaviors, difficulties in finding work, and other things in my life make sense ... but some of my traits don't match up with "typical" autism, so I can't help but wonder if we're looking for the wrong things. Perhaps we should keep in mind that the quirky, extremely shy kid, prone to being bullied, who enjoys debate tournaments (but confound it if he couldn't figure out how to do better than 50% wins in a Lincoln Douglas tournament!) and being in school musicals and plays, who sings in a choir, who delves into science fiction and fantasy, who writes for the school newspaper, who decides to become a PhD mathematician because of a "rabbit hole" he fell into when reading "Jurassic Park" and discovering that mathematics is beautiful, who goes from software development job to software development job, regularly burning out (sometimes even when the startup burns out too) ... he might be autistic, too!
I have some form of ADHD even though I know some people's attitude style like either good most and bad least
I'm autistic and I love being autistic. What I don't like is the ableism but that's not cause im autistic, thats cause noone will acommidate my needs and people are intolerant and ableist.
hugo weaving :D
No offense but I actually flipping hate autism and no I do not hate myself I have autism to
Hi I’m so sorry to say this I hate autism and I don’t mean I hate the people with autism I just hate the disorder😢
Hello it’s me again now look I still hate autism because I have a sister with autism and she always struggle with it Autism is sometimes bullshrimp now please tell me something 😢
"They said he would never speak." And look at where he is now. That is so powerful 😢
I am autistic I was diagnosed when I was only 3. I am 11 now and it’s been really hard . I barely made any friends and ppl seem to find my obsession with cats weird .
I was diagnosed with autism when I was three as well, so we relate.
Maybe u can find friends online or maybe autistic friends in the neighbourhood ❤ but don’t forget I’m know your friend to. Every time ur sad or felt misunderstood Come and see this comment Much love from a Moroccan auntie living in the Netherlands of autistic lovely nephew who I love the most in this world 😊😊😊
Our son is autistic, he’s 29 and he lives with us, the only problem we really have with him is his non stop talking, he repeatedly says the same things over and over again. It can be frustrating at times, he went all through school but he can’t read or write. He has done things we never thought he would, he works 2 days a week, he’s in the Special Olympics for our county, he plays basketball and he’s on the track and field team , he’s a math whiz, he loves numbers
😎
Thank you so much to all involved in these beautifully crafted videos. They give me hope for my son for the future. It is so right to include the experience of those around the autistic person and what it is like for them. Love and hugs to everyone.
This was very moving for me to watch. My 10 year old son is autistic. I hope the future brings him happiness and fulfillment. Ky is an inspiration.
Hello from the U.K! Wonderful video! My son is autistic and it's so difficult when other people don't understand what this means for him and expect 'normal' things from him. Extra love to this video because Hugo Weaving is one of my favourite actors and it's lovely to see well known figures giving their time, energy and voice to raising awareness.
💖🐈💖as an autistic woman that is very isolated even when surrounded by people, this is very helpful because I truly don't mean to bother anyone. I have hope again. Thank you 💖🐈💖

People don’t care that I have autism every day at school I get treated like shit and they don’t like my hair or when I would try to be nice or be myself and make friends every one doesn’t care but now I when I would be different and being nice I feel like I’m doing the wrong thing now I give up and I don’t want any friends I won’t even talk to anyone
I can relate to hiding behind a screen (only for me it was more movies though I’d sometimes hide behind computer or video games) to avoid what felt awkward and unsafe like people were judging me harshly with every interaction I stood there trying to muster words but always came up short to the point never saying much and being labeled “shy” or “reserved”
I was diagnosed with autism in 3rd grade. It was hard for me to get eye contact. I-i just coulnt! Its so hard to make eye contact! It makes me uncomtarble. I also don't listen what teacher is talking. And when I try to listen the teacher, in few seconds I will be in my own world. I even go to school with same clothes and I really don't like the noises too.
❤❤❤

I have autism (high functioning) and about to be 15 years old. This guy is an inspiration
My daughter was just diagnosed with autism 2 days ago and she just turned 4. I knew something was different and I’m glad I advocated for her. People around me are gonna have to educate themselves about this to continue to be around her because she deserves people who are gonna give her compassion and not treat her differently

Thank you Dr OBEHi herbal home, my two children have been suffering from Autism for years, and I thought their was no cure for autism, but when I came across your CZcams channel you cured them with your natural herbs.
This is one that relates to me. All then other ones where kind of explaining what to do if you get overwhelmed with autism or just something like that. I don't like those vids. Sure they are helpful but it's like acting as if autism is like... I don't know... a game boss fight where they give you tips and tricks.
Great work, Ky - you're an inspiration (as are your family, friends and supporters)! Good job, production team!
Great job, Jorja and Ky for your openness and honesty! Well done production team and sponsors!
William and Nicolle you both must be so proud of Ky. He has always had great goals and he just kept chipping at them ‘wow’ some of them have now been achieved. He is so grown up and positive. Thanks for sharing. Craig
Ky was so lucky he had such a caring and understanding sister. They now have a bond that has matured over their lives. Thank you for sharing it is a lovely story. That needed to be told as everyone now has the whole story and hopefully we will hear more of this beautiful journey. Craig
