Grand Park of Tirana Albania | My AMAZING $45 Albania Apartment Overlooking Dajti Mountain
We paid $45 USD for this apartment near Grand Park of Tirana Albania. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies, a washing machine, dual sinks, dishwasher, oven, large couch, smart TV with a logged in Netflix account, multiple air cons, tons of storage, and views of Dajti Mountain from the living room.
The wifi was 25 download and 7 upload (I said it backwards in the video) so it wasn't the best if you were looking to work from home as a digital nomad in Tirana.
Be unique. Be adventurous.

We paid $32 USD for this Durres Albania beach front apartment! It was a 1 bedroom apartment that contained a queen size bed, washing machine, air-con, medium-sized refrigerator, and had sea views of the Albanian Riviera from the balcony. This Tirana apartment cost us $34 per night. While it has the potential to be a great apartment for rent in Tirana, there were too many things that didn't work. The stove, washing machine, leaky water heater, poor wifi signal, etc. After I left an honest, yet fair review on Booking.com, the host lashed out in anger with choice words via Whatsapp. I do not recommend this Tirana accommodation, no...

I've been living in Tbilisi now for almost 2 years. I Love it here! Yes, I don't like when the water is shut off and the power is out, but that's the only drawback of living in an apartment building/flat, especially when there are still new apartments under construction in your building. I've never witnessed any violence, but then again, I don't go to places that could potentially be dangerous. I always travel with friends, unless I'm just walking around my city. I moved from Didi Dighomi to Varketili (the air is so much cleaner and fresher in Varketili, and there are trees EVERYWHERE (unlike in Didi Dighomi) As far as racism goes, it's THEIR CHOICE! I'm quite sure there is a valid reason why they don't trust those 3 races of people! There's A LOT of people I don't like or trust! Boo hoo!! Be better people, better humans, act civilized, and there would be FAR LESS racism!

I know its unfair and could be handled a bit more subtlety by enforcing their existing rules but the landlord I dealt with in Georgia had a no Indian or Chinese policy, he said that every time theyve rented apartments to an Indian or Chinese student/worker, within a month they started receiving noise and disruption complaints from neighbours that there were 5+ people living in the same 1 bedroom place. One 2 bedroom apartment they had got destroyed when there was a revolving door of 10 or more people living there for months after agreeing to rent it out to one guy, its the scenario theyre all afraid of. Could it happen with any nationality? Of course.

When was it? Prices depend on peak season or not. I cannot imagine you are in CM now during the current airpolluted time... I like the size of this studio, the advantage of old condo's over brand new shoe boxes. How about noise in this condo? From neighbours, street or airplanes?

This was in November (I'm a bit behind!). Surprisingly the noise level wasn't as bad as I had expected. I never heard my neighbors. I only heard street noise on the weekend nights and rarely did I hear airplanes. I'm guessing this condo was more insulated/ sound proofed than the other ones I had previously stayed in around the Nimman area.
