Melco EMT16 Embroidery Machine Overview
Excellent video. I like the way you explain.
Thank you very much!
Great video
Thank you
I really enjoyed this video. I’ve watched many videos, yours is my favourite. I learned a lot and will rewatch this many more times while I’m practicing. Your tutorial is detailed, clear and informative. You give reasons for your actions and continue to talk us through every step, without jumping forward. Seeing every action from beginning to end is so helpful. Thank you. I look forward to seeing your next one.
EXcellent video. Thank you
thank you!
This video is very helpful for me . machine and designing combination is best in this video. Tq and thankyou for this video
Thank you. This helped me with my problem!!😄
Glad I could help:-)
maybe I missed it but are we supposed to add an end stitch or do we leave the area empty aside from the cap stitches?
At 3:58 you state "I prefer to adding the solvy after the netting is embroidered and not before"........how do you add solvy after the material has been hooped.
Thank you much for your great tutorials. can i get your whats up number
I've been looking for a solution for small numbers for a long time. this video content is too good. I know your time is tight, just film you at work bro. and your channel will explode over time, people need the likes of you.
on your caps density, it says .25mm. is that 2.5mm? Also on your columns density says .18mm
its .25 mm and .18mm respectivly and not 2.5mm or 1.8mm. Cheers Jerdy
how do i get the stencils for caping stitch, bridge, and edge??? i love how you made it so simple with those stencils. Im assuming you can just drag and increase or decrease size according to design style or size
The stencils I created using Corel and saved it as a JPG for the purpose of the video. When I digitize 3D I eye ball it now as I can guestimate the width of the cap and so on. Cheers Jerdy
i am embroidery digitizer contact me for digitize your logo. first logo is free for check quailty
we need more videos, next video could be about how to digitize more details in a complex logo (the goal is to get max details in the minimum possible size)
Thank you for the suggestion. I’m actually looking for more ideas for my next video. I will take your suggestion and add it to a few suggestions I have already received. Cheers Jerdy
Thanks! I can't select individual letters after entering text. Did I miss something in the video? How can I edit the height of individual letters?
Awesome information thank you so much I will confidently digitise small lettering after watching your video. Appreciate your sharing thank you.
My pleasure
Hi, is it ok to set up Adobe Illustrator with 0.2 mm grid and prepare all your letters with all the push and pull compensations before you export the .SVG format to the embroidery app? This way you simplify some of the work, cause I find breaking all letters are easier in illustrator.
Absolutely .Anything that makes life easier is a bonus. I do something similar to that effect on Corel.
Hi, thank you for such a great video, it was very well edited with plenty of information. If you were to digitized the letters without using any embroidery fonts, what types of stiches do you use? Thank you.
Always use Satin stitches when the columns are less then 7mm wide. The thinner it is, the less density you will use.The density range will goes from a density of .3mm to .45mm.
80/12 needle
wou amazing.. good job sir.
Thank you! Cheers!
I've been looking for this information.Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the great lesson. Could you please explain why the vertical column in the letter E (EMT16X at 5:59) show arrows pointing inward?
As the machine is forming the top part of the E, the stitches get squeezed inwards on itself, thus making the horizontal column thinner and making the letter shorter. Cheers
Can these sane actions be performed on SewArt?
What do you mean by SewArt?
Good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it :0)
Why were you long to 4 years lol ? 😅😅
We are just to busy to put out videos on a regulars basis.:0(
Thank you a lot keep sharing info like this. My small letters were not in line but after this video i wont have any problems wiith it thank you alot
Glad it helped
Hi! I would love to take you digitizing classes. Do you offer any classes currently? thank you!
Sorry, no. We are mainly a digitizing company and unfortunately we just don't have the necessary time to give courses.
Good video thanks
Thank you Jessie:0)
WHERE DO YOU BUY THE 6MM FOAM ?
I need a file digitized to meet the requirements for a 3D Puff embroidery for my online store
You can send your request to our web site.
Good video
Thank you. Hope it was helpful. Cheers
Hello! I have a problem, when embroidering 3D designs, foam is constantly visible, I decided to try to embroider your design and embroidery also turned out with sticking foam. I did everything according to your settings, raised the shoulder blade, high density foam. What could be the problem?
There are a number of possibility's, but the most common are the following. You need to stay away from regular foam and go with high density foam, that is crucial .Next, make sure you have your tension as loose as possible without it looping. Call me at the office if you like and we can discuss it. Cheers
Thanks for sharing❤
Thank you for watching.:0)
How thick was the foam used? I wanna use the same for mine. Thanks.
3mm foam. Make sure it is high density foam. The finished product will look much nicer versus regular density foam. Also make sure to raise your presser foot to the height of the foam so it doesn’t crush it. Melco machines have an adjustable presser foot but I know not all machines do. Also make sure you loosen up your tensions. If you have a Melco machine there is a 3D preset in the software you can select.Give me a call at the office if you need any help. Cheers. Jerdy.
thank you so much!!! perfect summary for me - i got some melco bravos for years, small letters are kind of hard for us, but this helped a lot
Glad it was helpful. Always nice to hear. Cheers
GENIAL !!!! BUEN VIDEO, ETARIA MUCHO MEJOR SI TUVIRS EN ESPAÑOL, YA QUE MI INGLES NO ES BUENO... Y CON SUBTITULOS PERDERIA MUCHO DETALLES AL LEEER..
Muchas gracias.
I like your video
You took 4 years to make a video
Lol. I know. I'm not very good with the video making skills. I think it took me on average 2 to 3 hours for every minute of the video. I just need to start making more videos to become more proficient at it and bring down that ratio :0/. I did enjoy the process though. In fact, I am looking for topics for the next video. I would appreciate your 2 cents if you have any ideas. Cheers and thank you for taking the time to watch it. Jerdy
he's topped 95% of the videos i've seen for the past 4 years. Sorry for the google translation.
Great videos.
Thank you Kenny.
I think this is one of the best videos showing (3d puff) digitizing. Very very clear and neat. Thanks!
Thank You very much.:0)
Hola me gustaría estos viveos en español
that you for this, i wanna know write the text form the machine?
Only 3 vids? What happened?
I’m having a issue ? Where it doesn’t says satin on top of top stitching it does give me the option to make it satin but just all elements so it doesn’t to allow me to change the density mm .. mine is just giving me option to change density percentage .
Ernest Vasquez what software are you using?
Thank you for presentation. Verry interesting.
Excellent video. I like the way you explain why you do what you do.
Carol Undy Thank you for the feed back. Much appreciated. I’ve been derelict in my making of new videos due to our work load but I will be putting one out soon on small lettering. The feed back helps in making future videos. Cheers Jerdy.
@@extremewizardsdigitizing3101 That is great news.
I use Wilcom E3 just starting out is there a lot of difference to the softwear you use, just tried it and my stitch length is not going to outer edge in middle so i have two stitches instead of one
You probably have the AutoSplit feature turned on in your satin stitch settings.
That was really interesting and informative. Thank you!
Thanks
