This is so "North American"... So folk, good and almost "red neck" song... I'll love it!!!
Liike most found from NPR,them and Andrew bird, some of best music I've ever heard,my uncle chick Daughtry was president of mca records from r 35 years, so I've heard a lot ,these two are just amazing
😎😎😎😎👌👌👌👌
Amazing song. I love just walkin in near forest of my town. I always listen The handsome. Greetings from Hungary.
You are brilliant! x
I love this song, and the video especially, but I wonder how a Navajo or Cherokee person would feel about it. While not overtly racist, it certainly is not very complementary of native people and their culture
Rennie understands the plight of passenger pigeons like no one else.
This is so incredible! Such a nostalgic, happy mix of precious melancholy. Love this couple and their songs and are my new favorite band hands down. Thanks so much guys for music like this!
Greatest band but how are they still so unknown after decades?? best storytellers ever
Last September at the state fair Past the ferris wheel and bumper cars The hypnotist, the jumping goats Forgotten country music stars There was a sign for Tiny Tina From the wilds of Arizona Drinks just a thimble of water Eats just a handful of straw [Chorus] Tiny Tina, the world's smallest horse Just a dollar to go see her Just a dollar to see that little horse [Verse 2] I rode the teacups, the tilt 'o whirl Shot water guns at grinning clowns I ate funnel cakes, chili dogs, fried beer I saw the largest ear of corn But as the fair lights shone at dusk I stood there in that field of dirt Thinking only of those little hooves Trotting circles in the dark [Chorus] Tiny Tina, the world's smallest horse Why didn't I go see her? Why didn't I go see that little horse? Why didn't I go see that tiny horse? Why didn't I go see that little horse?
ee the grey dove Up in the green elm tree Raising his feathers Shaking out his wings High up in the leaves He calls across the trees Doesn't care who hears him The sky is his He's the king, the king of everything Cat in the tall grass Teeth a-chattering He'll catch that bird So high above his reach He's the king, the king of everything And me in my chair As the pills reach my brain I call out to the bees Come make honey from my pain I'm the king, the king of everything Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Brett Sparks / Rennie Sparks
Smash the windows, lock the doors Cover the mirrors, call the dogs Pull up the floorboards, tap on the walls Look into the eyes of that old poor cinder block Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room tonight Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room tonight Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room It's 1:49, crawl under the bed Whisper my name, it's time to begin Smash the windows, lock the doors Cover the mirrors, call the dogs Pull up the floorboards, tap on the walls Look into the eyes of that old poor cinder block Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room tonight Come into the circle, Joseph There's no room Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Brett Sparks
Nice song, liked the humorous and mystical lyrics and the amazing vocals.
We stopped for coffee in the Redwood forest Giant dripping leaves, spoons of powdered cream I wanted to kiss you but I wasn't sure how Like those Indians, lost in the rain forest Forced to drag burning wood wherever they went They had all forgotten how to start a fire This is why people OD on pills and jump from the Golden Gate Bridge Anything to feel weightless again Those poor lost Indians when the white man found them Most died of TB, the rest went insane In our motel room, you're drinking Slice and gin Reading Moby Dick on the other bed Remember the first time we slept together You said it felt like when you learned to float This is why people OD on pills and jump from the Golden Gate Bridge Anything to feel weightless again Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Brett Sparks / Rennie S Sparks
i love you guys

Me and my wife love this one so much

Thanks for posting this jewel from the Handsome Family. Many of you likely discovered them from the great series "True Detective". I first ran across their music in the soundtrack of "Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus". The sign with the missing letter at 0:57 reminds me of a sign at a steak house decades ago in Portland, Oregon called "Black Angus". It was a neon sign and the letter g had burnt out. I wonder how business was affected before they fixed it . . .
Absolutely gorgeous song.
This is more than music
Saw you guys in London ❤️
Bloody brilliant music love it, pol from Glasgow
My wife asks me how I can enjoy the sound of depression? I don't know really, I just feel it has a rare groove.
I like this song ❤

That video of the rollercoaster got me. So simple and lacking the craziness of todays coasters.
This is a brilliant song!
Love their music just from this initial quick listen. Nice chord changes and mood music. Kind of looks like Walter White at the end with the beard. 😮😊
Wow❤
See the grey dove Up in the green elm tree Raising his feathers Shaking out his wings High up in the leaves He calls across the trees Doesn't care who hears him The sky is his He's the king, the king of everything Cat in the tall grass Teeth a-chattering He'll catch that bird So high above his reach He's the king, the king of everything And me in my chair As the pills reach my brain I call out to the bees Come make honey from my pain I'm the king, the king of everything
Terrific x
I'm such a dolt. Listened to ABird not knowing an entire album was your songs. Better late than never I guess. Feeling a little less weighty, thanks Handsome Family!
The beginning of the song send me right back to The Sims aha
As wonderful as ever. See you in Sunderland next year.
Très belle chanson, une invitation au partage...
classic
Super !!! Come to Poland :-)
I interpreted this song being about an introvert being invited into a group by a caring individual who knows the introvert is emotionally wounded.
I keep this song close, just for me and my Internet provider.
