You're very welcome. I was surprised the clear coat shined up after it was that hazy, and it lasted nearly a year before they needed polished again without any uv protection.

It'll be fine. It's just surface oxidation. All uncoated/raw aluminum will have oxidation it's just the nature of the metal.

@@LVance0431 right!? I'm surprised GMC/Chevrolet never even offered the bare wheels as an option. They did that to a lot of their wheels other than the GMC ones I got as well. Like some on Cadillac's suvs, there's a 5 spoke silverado wheel, and a few other I'm not 100% sure on.

I'm not sure if they'll bolt straight in or not, but since I found a passenger side crv seat with the armrest attached I'll have to swap that seat out anyway. I'll make a video addressing the subject once the weather cooperates, so I can clean & dry the new seat before putting it in.

@@sharkparty1027 personally I find the 96-00 civic seats to be very uncomfortable, and the 96-01 crv seats are much better. However a set of 97-01 prelude si or sh, or 92-95 civic seats are my favorite!

​@@the710experiment84 97 Cvic LX here. Long drives and your back starts to ache a little. Just planning ahead to swap them out when I have a chance. The Civic seats are not as bad as the S2000 seats though. They will make you stiff as a board.

Yes you'll need part of the dash harness, and all the door internals at least. I swapped the doors because it was a major time saver. Swapping the door guts is a very time consuming process compared to bolting on an already power door.

You might want to check all the switches and window motors to make sure the equipment is in working condition, because if you follow everything I did and install it like I did it should all work like Honda intended it to.

It is a fun car to drive even though it's powered by the original d16y7, and the whining you hear is a combination of a bad input shaft bearing and a bad throw out bearing. Maybe one day I'll make the time to add a power adder, but that'll have to come once some of the minor issues are fixed. 😉
