Happy pride đđ
Happy Pride my Rainbow family love you all đłïžâđđłïžââ§ïžâ€
Good
Wrong
I heard some compulsory heterosexuality in there.
Thatâs a very interesting perspective, but I definitely agree. All gender is a performance, whether it be your gender assigned at birth or not.
Happy Pride ! đłïžâđđłïžââ§ïž
That was sooo much excellent advice! Like, Kej said she doesn't have it all figured out, yet she had such a competent, detailed and informative answer to every single one of Mal's questions. I'm hella impressed. đâ€ïžđ
You are a very beautiful and highly courageous girl. Respect.
I am South African, and have some close Iranian friends. I have known them for more than 10 years. There daughter went to school and varsity in SA...she is a industrial engineer. I have found them to have such a respectfull, well mannered and hospitable culture, and since my culture is also similar in terms of manners and discipline I can relate and appreciate that, but I totally get how difficult it must be to be a persian lesbian. I think it must take tremendous courage and strenght since it is really an absolute no no.
How long until I get her back with men again, I don't think it will be long
Gotta love Alixs energy đđ
Alix has the most sweetest genuine smile âș
Zoya is so well articulated . A true role model
Can we have Soph Mosca if its possible, really enjoying every uest and love your videos.â€
lol i went to grad school at Ship
TIL; Texas is pro-choice when it's about you being gay đ€
Texas : Abortion is not a matter of choice, you give birth or else! also Texas: Gayness is a choice, you get rid of it or else! đ€šđ€šđ€š
I adore her
Apak okâ€
Great episode! I like this podcast! đ
Liz - I felt so validated hearing you explain about your internet dating/catfishing and how you were feeling. I did the exact same thing. I honestly thought I was alone in that experience. Even looking back now, I have a hard time still understanding how I got to that point, but your explanation really hit home with how I felt and why I did it too. I'm sorry you had to suffer alone and take so long to gain your confidence to come out..... proud of you for making your way through it. â€
New here. When will this episode with Kat be aired? Thank you
Nice
Sheâs so funny! đ Best guest
Yup, still my favorite podcast
Mal, I love the people that I've been introduced to because of your podcast!! I love your conversations. You are doing great. Hina, you are a gem. I want your energy lol
Rala and I dated two best friends and broke up with them around the same time. I wanna know if it was that ex so bad. Love the podcast!
Omg i looooved Zolita, fun and great talk as always.
Ugh! Dumb-assed L.A.... shoe-horning even lesbians into the hetero tradition of women only being capable of cattiness to other women...so sorry you were stuck with that. Between demeaning tropes like this one, and the first L-Word series, that was swarming with femmes, while all (what, two? three?) of the actual butches were painted as weirdos, or kept way in the background, and nearly every sex scene the exact same shove-against-the-wall kiss opener, with no nuance at all,. And the script feeling like a room of straight people had scoured a few gay headlinesd monster-mashed them with their unconscious biases, it is a miracle we now have shows like yours, with real people having real discussions. May you always survive Tinseltown's nonsense.â€
Deep stuff right there.
This episode will forever be known as "Don't Steal Packages"
The story about her ex is crazy but Mal your reactions are priceless I'm laughing so hard đ
I donât see what a haircut has to do with how someone behaves in bed. This all seems like stupid cultural stereotypes to me. Instead of conforming to stereotypes and doing what people expect, instead be your natural self and you'll change what people expect. Besides, thereâs nothing hotter than a femme top.
I believe a person should be comfortable in their own skin. That said, being a lesbian myself, I hope you would not go too masculine, because I do not want a relationship with a woman who has gone to far to the dark side. It is a tough role for a masc lesbian to adopt. Keep wearing that lipstick, however.
Your clothes are an outward expression of how you feel. Wear what you want. You are an articulate, good looking woman who just happens to have a masculine approach to life. What's wrong with that? NOTHING !!
When my last serious relationship ended right before Xmas 2010, I moved to another country on new yearâs eve to begin a new me đ
Interesting hearing this perspective and other people's thoughts of looking "fem". I am the opposite.. love being fem ... not attracted to the "butch" energy. Everyone just needs to do them and what makes them happy really
Wow. The story about the ex was exactly what my ex did. Minus the packages, that I know about anyway.
FEMME FOR FEMME đ©·
I was laughing so hard half of the time. But then it hit me really bad. Because it so much reminded me of the double life I am living and donât see it changing anytime soon. Because of the country I live in, because of the family who thinks that lgbt people should be treated for being themselves. I just envy I canât be myself in my life. Wish someday itâll be possible
love a femme in the streets, top in the sheets â€
Omfg so pretty stay pretty ;))
With no disrespect, the masculine energy/presentation has been too elevated within the lesbian/queer community - many think itâs the only way to attract women. I hope more lesbians embrace and see the feminine energy for all that it is - secure, strong, nurturing, protective, grounding, versatile (top/bottom in sex), etc⊠itâs incredibly beautiful to see two feminine women dating who understand this and embody such qualities.. . Femme for femme â€ïžđ«¶đœ I do enjoy the podcast ladies⊠keep up the good work xx
On the one hand we do put down femininity in a lot of spaces. we also do see a lot of baby gays lean more heavily into masculine energy because they think itâs the way they NEED to be. On the other hand we just need people to be exactly what they are. I donât care if there are more feminine or masculine lesbians in the community I just want them to not feel the need to fake who they are. Femininity is amazing, and so is masculinity, as long as itâs not filtered through this lens of who people think someone should be. Some no small part of my issue with the patriarchy is that itâs prescriptive of how everyone needs to behave in order to be correct in society. We donât need to do that to lesbians.
Also I thought femme meant something COMPLETE different than simply feminine. I thought femme meant more in terms of femme4butch. But fem&masc are separate from that. So like fem4fem? Idk where the discourse is at right now
@@hiruki8 Well said!
Yes - be YOURSELF (whatever that is).. I speak to the rejection of the fem energy/presentation within the the Queer community Ive seen and heard since I came out in 1996 (Gen - X kid â€ïž) . The documentary covering CURve (on Netflix) touched on this very briefly.
I agree 1000 percent! My first time in a group of lesbians, they were all butch and they seemed confused about me, as I had long hair in a braid and a more open top and tight jeans and one of them even CORRECTED me when I talked about my ex (female, in our language you know the gender of the person when you say ex) - CAN YOU IMAGINE? As if I was confused of the gender of the person I was dating...coming from a smaller town into the big city, where I hoped to be more accepted, I never felt more isolated in my life...!
I Love how Mal shows the face of disgust anytime male or men is mentioned and blurts out how much she hates them! đ Love her â€đ
Aww I feel bad when she started crying, wish I was there to give her a big hug â€
Good
OR. You could just be a normal person. I haver never ever thought this hard about "how to make my outside look like how i feel inside" if you have THIS MUCH time on your hands maybe you should look into getting a life. A husband and a kid is the best way to mature and find out how your body is ment to work for you. Find your levels of love and commitment and change for the better. You are subconsciously seeking attention because most women gave a husband and kids by your age. The absolute best attention comes from family and building a family is the best!
booooooooooooooo this is very dumb
Unsoliticed advice is so gay
Lolol howâd this even end up on your feed??? Your Internalized homophobia is showing. Itâs time to come out the closet đ€Ł
Tried that. Twice. It didn't help. And your definition of normal is very broken and I feel sorry for you.
literally wtaf đ
I love how much this episode was about just being your own self in your fashion, the queer commuinty where I live has such a specific way to "dress and be gay" and I find it so annoying because I don't fit into a style box, I never have. Its nice to know there is no "right" way to dress or no "right" way to be gay
