If this is true which is NOT, probably was because James hated the music culture ICE T representing, like many metal heads hating RAP gang like guys with wide pants, finding James said N word is like saying he said "Shit" or "Fu***" , we are talking about an alcoholic metal guys who used to ask people to show their tits in the live, you taking things out of the time concept. This is so Good in so many different ways. If this wasn't being done( keeping Scott in the Public eye and memory), he would have been treated and forgotten like so many others. Cant say that I don't know why because I do and it's a shame when we cheat ourself from certain things in our life's, only to find out later, that the thinking wasn't right and you wish you would of had a different prospective. Love ya.

I didn't see NIN until after Aaron left but I used to watch the with teeth tour videos all the time in high school and even now years later. I was impressed by his playing and was curious so I looked him up. Hope he is doing well. Very awesome guitarist.

I'm happy it worked out for him, VR is one of my favorite bands. I wish I had more albums to play on repeat. Hope all is well!

Inspired Big Time !! I’m in the beginning stages of auditioning for the areas biggest band right now . They are very professional!!! I’m busting my ass to make this happen !! Worst case scenario?? I’ll continue to work . I’ll continue to learn . I do not want to sound negative but you must prepare for that resounding “ NO “! Haha But I have a good feeling . This is huge for me and my family . True story - Such a huge highlight in my music life . I went to see Slash’s Snakepit in Philly ( Electric Factory ). I want to say it was 2000 or 2001 . Man they really rocked the joint !! Hot Rod Jackson was on lead vocal . I was front row with my wife . The very last song they played was “ Mr Brownstone “. I don’t know what compelled Rod to do this but he bent down and handed me the microphone haha 😂 I got to sing like the first minute of Mr Brownstone with Slash and the boys . And the best part ? It sounded great ! Thank God I knew the words !! “ I get up around 7 “ …. Haha 😂 And all the hugs and high fives afterwards were Pretty cool too . I really wish that CZcams was invented at that time . I also always wonder if anybody out there has that show on video !!???? How cool would That be !!!???

Its funny when libertad first came out, i was disappointed as it didn't have that same edge as contraband, in particular slashs solos didnt have as much bite... which i think is more due to the way the recording was mixed... especially considering the songs do have that edge and bite when played live. Years later though, i actually prefer libertad. I find it a much more cohesive album. I also love messages and gas and a dollar laugh. Am craving some unheard VR

Brando you look so young, how old were you when VR came out? I was 22...where is time going! I remember unfortunately I was very unwell due for major surgery at the time Slither was released on MTV - the album was part of my recovery. Saw them live on London. Great times overall \m/
