I'm wondering if maaybe I could do a cowl neck by slashing the bodice from neckline to waist and spreading it to make the neckline wider (too wide, so it'll want to droop) and then just hope the straps stay well on my shoulders since they'll come over the shoulder from the normal place in the back

I've kind of wanted to do a longsleeve exercise top with this neckline inspired by Popflex sweetheart longsleeve and I think this tutorial would work for that with a couple of adjustments like an underbust seam (: Thanks!

Am I correct that the pleats are drawn on the back pattern.. not the front? But when you put the front and back patten together to cut a curve, you cut the back and the front is on the table.. but with pleats drawn?! Thank youuuu

i'm a Nigerian (Africa) & recently i've been wanting to watch tutorials from other countries so i can learn their own styles and sewing patterns but majority videos never show pattern drafting processes and it's so frustrating bc its like - isn't that the "tutorial"? 😅😅 Like I know how to sew w a machine, i want to see how u came up w the style lol. me again haha! Everything is going great! However I'm putting the back and front together and my back pieces seem to be much longer than the front at the end (once I match up at the hip, it's about 2 inches longer at the back) is this normal? it seems to be the same for you when you placed it down in the video

Love the video! if i have a different sam allowance than you (an inch) should i place the zipper an inch in from the edge? instead of right at the edge
