Hi there!
I like makin' stuff... be it painting all sorts of dragons, sculpting sea-life, re-modelling entire villages in Minecraft, or crafting tiny sets of leather and chainmail armour for toy squirrels.

In this video I go through the process of sewing and painting a pair of small banners for use at Empire (a larp game run by Profound Decisions). I use a basic cotton canvas and acrylic paints to create a couple of meeting markers for use by my group in Navarr. Watch till the end for a brief cameo from my cat Jiji!

I thought it might be interesting (maybe??) to record the experience of stuffing as much kit as possible into a car, and then turning it all into an 'in-character' tent in the field at Empire, a larp game run by Profound Decisions... ...so this is my somewhat haphazard attempt at doing so! With such a large space, why no cots or anything, why stay on the ground?
Mostly personal taste. I find the futon more comfortable than camp beds I've tried in the past, and also as someone who often runs low on physical energy it's a lot simpler and easier to flop the futon on the floor than wrangle a camp bed. There is absolutely space for them though, you're quite right! ...mind you, if I had the carrying capacity, budget, and reliable energy levels I would love to go for one of the wooden cots I've occasionally seen!

i love this video! i have been really struggling with packing space vs set dressing and i think you have done a great job striking a balance. looking forword to possible other IC spaces and others approaches to easy set dress :)

Thank you! I've already discovered how easy it is to get lost in editing mode for an afternoon at a time, but hopefully that'll at least mean I get better from all the practice!
