My mom did something similar! My brother went through a huge plants vs zombies phase and asked for a pvz birthday cake. She used a bowl and made a huge brain to put on top of the cake and froze it, and used melted marshmallow with red food coloring as a glaze haha. She also made green frosting and added a sunflower and my brother's favorite plant, the squash. Then she wrote a note in the zombie's handwriting saying "hapy birtday -zombis" or something lmao. Man, I really miss her

I think adding a little sugar would probably make this taste better. If you're going to be using a lot of it, it's gonna have a strange texture without any taste. Also, does the buttercream leach the colour from the rice paper at all? I feel like its either going to be crunchy, or the rice paper powder is gonna absorb moisture from the buttercream. Why not just use black sugar in the first place?

be careful with your containers and making sure they’re airtight because yogurt gets thinner as it gets warmer and if you jostle the container around it’ll get on EVERYTHING💜

The upside down glass has a slight angle to it, unlike a cake that would be a perfect 90 degree. Wouldn't that make your drip on the cake slightly longer? Do you account for that?
