In this short time of 75 years, I have been to meany places like that which you have shown. It never fails to amaze me & make me wonder just how meany craftsmen it took to construct any one of them. Growing up I had a world of meany of these type of Building to play in & explore. There was a theater in my home town that was about 3/4 of a block long, and extended back through the alley way to the next street. It had been closed for a few years, it had hand carved ceilings, with sculptured= landscaped walls. The mountains, rivers, animals, birds, all done by hand in plaster work. { years later I met one of these craftsmen, he was a true attest, a good friend & neighbor} The plainest chairs were made of crushed velvet with crystal ashtrays built into the arms. Some seating was made of firs, with hand carving of black ebony wood, and Brass fold-a-way foot rests, these you would find in the meany Balcony's. It would take me a book to describe this & other places they just used for land fill. Years later they were restoring old buildings and came to me to locate hard to find building materials, as they knew I was the go to person. At that time they were looking into rebuilding this Building but changed their minds when they found out it would cost at least 300 million dollars. I enjoy the pics, keep it up. "Thank You"

Love these videos, keep em coming. These videos fill me with amazement and wonder about just how amazing we humans can be. Only that now we live in a system of extreme greed which takes away from anything beautiful that could be made. Now the modern architecture style is actually called Brutalism: its ugly, cheap, and easily crumbles without maintenance. I have hope though that humanity is waking up.
