The superb sight and sound of the Spitfires flying in formation and then tail chasing at IWM Duxford on Saturday 19th September 2015. I recorded these clips with a video camera mounted to the foot of my upturned tripod mount so my apologies for the occasional shutter clicks as I was there for photography and the video was an extra :)

This is a primal evocative sound that tingles that primitive part of our nature that warns us of an apex predator coming our way....that's what the Vulcan is...an apex predator

Aircraft enthusiasts need to keep quiet and sedate their children. Sadly at EVERY air show these days you'll find a high wattage PA system and unnecessary non-stop commentary. Let the Aeroplanes speak for themselves.
Saw that at Andrew's AFB. In 80, forgot all about that sound, and big.

Beautiful aircraft and an equally beautiful howl as she passes by. I’ll never forget the first and only time I saw one as a kid at the RAF Leuchars air show. She’s a classic ❤
