@@SilviaHoard Thanks for watching. We have status at Hilton so used a combination of Hilton rewards and free night certificates for 4 nights and paid for an additional 3 nights. (Stayed 8days/7nights). Total trip cost about $11K.

Great video. We went last year for 7 nights and it was fantastic. If you can, book a room in Artistas building on the Arte side. You get to visit both sides of the hotel and have exclusive access to the rooftop and restaurant in that building. Was a great trip and the food and service were on point. Loved the parks, and only problem was tiring out. Need to schedule more free time at the resort as it is really a beautiful place.
Yes, we would like to try the Arte side, but really want to stay at La Casa de la playa!

You guys had an amazing trip! My wife and I will be visiting this property in December. We are Hilton Diamond members as well and we are doing one day at the Waldorf Astoria Cancun, and then three days at the Conrad Tulum. You guys really did a load of wonderful off-property activities. Can you tell me which one you’d state was the best? Other than visiting the Mayan ruins with the rental car I’m thinking of getting; I really am uncertain what other off-property activities I should consider for my wife and I.
@jamalmallen, We loved Cirque du Soleil Joya the best. Everyone agreed that this activity was the highlight of the trip. We plan on seeing it again on our next trip!

My wife and I saw our first Cirque du Soleil show “O” at the Bellagio last year and we are making a return trip to Vegas just to see another show (“Ka”). I’ll definitely add that to the mix of what we do in Cancun/Tulum. Thanks again for posting the vid of such an amazing trip. You did a great job with the editing and overall production!

We just got back from Grand Velas. We spent 3 nights at Grand Class (adults only section) It's hard to put in to words the level of service you get at this resort, it's beyond amazing. It blows your mind how well trained these employees are and how everything works so seamlessly from check-in to checkout. The facilities, amenities, the architecture of the building, the unbelievably humongous pool (there are 3 total), I mean I can go on and on. Simply the best vacation we have ever taken and it's hard to imagine any other place better than this

@@badtzRHi, I spoke with a gentlemen who had stayed at one their other locations for 5 nights and he said the food at Rivera Maya was better so probably not. I can't wait to go back to this location again.

Hi PushBBCP, yes, we signed up for the extended excursion package - so took all day. Believe we were back at the resort by late afternoon. Yes, I highly recommend it. It was a unique experience and the Cenote was beautiful. Thanks for watching and have a great trip. It's a fantastic resort with unparalleled service.

@@pushbbcp You have to bring your own. We bought it on Amazon (multi-purpose floaty) and always bring it with us.
How many days did you guys stay over there? When is the best time to go there? Does it rain a lot over there? Thank you!
Hi Tony, we stayed 8 days/7nights. We went in late June and it was hot. Think the best time is in early spring but it’s also the high season. It did not rain during our stay. From what we’ve experienced, there were sporadic periods of rain but never rained out for the whole day. You’ll get plenty of sunshine. Thanks for watching.
Great job on the vid. My wife and I went the last two years and did many of the same excursions you did. We love the resorts but because our kids are grown, we prefer Arte.

We booked through Costco Travel. Best deal we could find. They also included private transportation to and from the airport. The only restaurant we were required to make a reservation was Xin Gao at the time we went. Make sure you do both hibachi and table service reservations. For the park we were required to make reservations for Xenses and Xenotes. We went to Xcaret park, Xplor, Xenses and Xenotes.
I'm spending 10 days at Xcaret Hotel Arte next month and loved this video! What was the boat ride at 4:36 and at which hotel? I've never seen that in anyones youtube video about xcaret!
Hi ddelgado, the boat ride was on the Hotel Xcaret Mexico side, near Chibali and the kids pool. It’s was a great way to get to Xcaret park. It runs on a regular schedule and rode it many times. Have a great trip!
What restaurants did you try? I’m planning on going and all of the restaurants you tried looked great and tasty!
Hi Jose, we tried almost every restaurant: Cuevas, Xin Gao, Las Playas, La Trajinera, Chibali, Cantina Los Faroles and Mercado de La Merced. Have a great time!

Where/how did you get a golf cart?
We asked the valet service to give us a ride to/from each hotel. It’s free, we just tipped the driver.
How much was the boat rental? And did you guys rent taxi to take you outside the resort
Think it was USD$100 for a private boat. Yes, we used UBER to get around.

Hello ... For our family, we preferred the Riviera Maya location. All of the Grand Velas resorts are first class, but we had such a memorable experience at the Riviera Maya location. Riviera Nayarit would be next, and then Los Cabos - in that order.

Did you pay less than 1000$ a day or about 1000$ a day . (You don’t have to answer just wondering) cause this resort looks perfect. But rates seem pretty high for Maya Riveria.
Hi, We went during shoulder season and stayed for a week - so the answer is 'about'. :). Yes, the rates are high but the resort and service are extraordinary. Our family felt like royalty there. Thanks for viewing and commenting!
