Hello! I am WCRfan126! But my friends call me Meg! I'm an editor who makes AMVs and Non/Disney crossovers! I'm currently a multifandom channel that edits with Non/Disney films, Star Wars, Marvel, other live-action TV shows and movies, and a variety of cartoons. Hope you enjoy!

Maybe the most wildly unpredictable edit I’ll ever post but y’all the new movie that came out this month got me so pumped up that I just felt like it was the perfect excuse to edit these movies. The POTA reboot trilogy (I suppose tetralogy now) is MY FAVORITE sci-fi dystopian/apocalyptic film series. I rewatch this trilogy every single year, twice a year sometimes. It’s right up there on my rewatch list with my other favorite movies. The writing and filmmaking is something I aspire to make someday. It is a film series that truly understands the theme of man’s hubris, along with other themes like evolution, and is also a great character study of our lead Caesar and the journey he goes on. GAH!!! I could go on! I could write a fucking essay about these movies, but I’m gonna assume that’s not what people are here for so I’m gonna move on to the video itself!
Not much to say except that my goal for this video was smooth transitions. I think I succeeded, the best I could anyways without using After Effects. Yes, I still primarily refuse to use AE in my canon edits. Doing it for my Spider-Verse video was enough to make me realize that yep, I really hate using it for canon edits and will not do so out of stubbornness. But putting the text behind the characters wasn’t that hard and I do feel I managed to achieve the overall look and feel I wanted to! I will say this is definitely the longest it’s taken me to finish a canon edit in recent years because I got really stumped on some lyric matching. But I was determined to push through and figure it out. I was not about to have another canon edit sit in my files for who knows how many years XD. Also, fun fact, my favorite movie in the trilogy is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and yet I think it’s the movie I use the least here. I just found better luck matching the lyrics with Rise and War lol. Enjoy! And watch the new movie in theaters!!! It’s also super good!!!

Aaaaaw Jane and Hogart are adorable! It's fun they have an adventure in space. Thoses two will be friends forever! Jim and Cindy are one of my favorite ships. Meg I am LOSING MY MIND at this!!! Maybe it's because I watched these movies soooo recently but I am SCREAMING at these lyric mashups. "But are we better off alone" paired with Caesar angrily wiping away the drawing of his window. All the moments with Will. Also the "I've got your soul" moment with Caesar seeing Koba in the fire??? The way Koba haunts the narrative in War drives me INSANNNNE. Like yes!! Caesar killed Koba but Koba lives on in conflict he started, in the hate he sowed!! Anyways. Yes, this is perfect. You absolutely KILLED IT with this edit. I'm gonna be rewatching this for the rest of the day.
