Just putting this here: She says, in a world context: For all the world's victims, Kaddish For all the holocausts' (plural) victims, Kaddish She purposefully used the plural for holocaust - yet that important extra s is omitted in translations. As we approach High Holy Days and in the middle, October 7 Commemorations, I think it is important to think about the world that Ofra Haza would have seen now, had she not died so early. In the context of this Kaddish - redemption, forgiveness, salvation, can we make t'shuvah while so many ignore genocide in Gaza and West Bank while grieving for the deaths of those we lost on and since 7/10/23 - and the thousands who died before over many decades of violence?
