Whats odd I went through the same thing with my stylcraft instincts it came with the magnetic guards I was getting a harsh finish. Then I switch to my babyliss fx Lo pro it was smooth finish. But I use the stylcraft tight guards then I got good results on all my clippers.
I came from the wahl seniors, the rebel is way better. I stil use the wahl guards, but for debulk the style craft are better and for taking out lines use the wahl guards .5 , 1, 1.5, and 2.
Thanks for the review! You don't happen to know if there are any guards that fits this model?
Stop frontin you aint throwing shi away
So because of this video, and some others I've seen, I just purchased these. I'm balding guy so I like to shave my head as close as possible without having to use an actual razor. You think using these and then my andis profoil to go over is the best way? I've seen reviews of these straight out the box not zero gapped and they look like they cut so close I don't know if I need to even go over with my foiler after.
You can definitely use your foil after going with these. They do cut very close, but nothing is going to beat the foil shaver in terms of closeness. If you want that smooth shave I’d go with the foil shaver.
@@ramtincutz Thank you for the reply!
@@ramtincutz Like issue I was having with the foil is if I don't get my hair short enough with a trimmer, the foil doesn't work well. My Saber just came in today so super stoked to see how well it works. Also, quick question, I see on channels like these guys talking about their blades. Are all trimmer blades interchangeable or do I have to get a specific one from Stylecraft? I want have a backup blade.
Can you post the tutorial for the taper fade on the video? I struggle to keep my fades low
use the dowfading method
I got these and they hit off rip. The metal sleekness of it makes it easy to drop.
Bro , this technique so unique !!! I don't understand why barbers using 3 4 guadlines😮 time waste
Hello, do u recommend the rebels more then the insincts? Thanks
To be honest I haven’t tried the instincts yet so I wouldn’t be able to answer that, would love to try them soon tho!
@@ramtincutz okay. I see the rebel got a faper blade ? When i Look where else it has a fusion blade.
Best Trimmer on the market
can you fit whal guards on rebel ?
Yes, I can it all guards on any clipper as long as it’s not andis
Mine don’t want to charge for no reason, never dropped em.smh
Nice work! Buddy should grow his front hairline out
I’ve heard the gold ones are better but they get hotter faster. Do you think this is true or just placebo?
I am not a barber but after using walh detailer, endis t outliner and babyliss fx, i got this one and man, we get what we pay for. This one is amazing. The crunchy cut and sharp lines. I am using it out of the box as well. But for sure I am gonna zero gap and try. Babyliss blade tilts and it doesn't feel like a well designed for comfort and esthetics. Babyliss according to me is overhyped
There are a lot of great trimmers out there man but these are definitely up there !!
Amazing review bro. We agree. You couldn't have said it better.
Nice bro glad you’re liking the troll ✅✅
Have you tried zero gapping the psycho blade?
just subscribed 🔥🔥👌
one of the best clippers using the gaurds that it comes with is not recommended for me
how are you using the stretch bracket with the clics on the lever ?
I forgot to mention that in order to take advantage of the functionality of the stretch bracket you have to switch to the floating lever(pink one in the box). Great observation !
You forgot to put the video of you using them my brotha 😂
I know bro I only realized after I uploaded 😭
MIght need another video on this cuz this one was so good@@ramtincutz
Do you think this will fit the lo pro charging base at all? The charging port is slightly diff shape that’s all so I’m just thinking 🤔 Thanks in advance
Funny enough I thought the exact same thing as soon as I opened them! They fit in the charging stand since the body is basically the same; BUT they don’t charge since the ports are different. That being said I know TPOB is coming out with a charging stand for both the TROLL Clippers and trimmers this year and they’re gonna be done so I’m excited for that!
@@ramtincutz thanks massively for the info regarding that I really appreciate it!
Great bro ❤
You right bro, it a good products
Best in the city 💪
Appreciate you g 💪🏽

lets go!!! thanks man great video
Yessir! Appreciate you for the package 📦 🙏🏽
Ayyyy Broski hard trimmers
Yessir they’re fire 🔥 Can’t wait to see what TPOB has coming in the future
They nice! But it's better clippers as far as getting a razor sharp line
Which trimmers do you think top these?
Gamme/Rebel vs Babyliss FX? I am in debate about buying one of them
Good
I love 4
Bro i heard that putting the fusion blade on this is beast. Can you confirm?
Hey bro! I actually haven’t heard about or tried that, might give it a shot this week! If I do I’ll let you know how it is!
Can anybody tell me why the lever screw keeps unscrewing ??
I have a corded wahl magic clip and it feels slower than I've seen this one goes. The weight? I was hoping lighter than a magic clip, lol. Who wouldn't? Thank you for doing this. More info I get, the better.
I have the corded 5* Seniors, and 2 magic clips but I gotta say, my personal preference would be to have: 1 Rebel/Boosted 1 Cordless Magic Clip 1 Corded 5* Seniors You can leave the Seniors out if you want to go full cordless.
These sometimes be pulling people hair, like certain people hair when I try to fade with it, do u know why?
Personally, I’ve never had this issue with the Rebels. What I would recommend as the first option would be to take off the blade and deep clean the clipper, and to oil it once you put it back together. Let me know if that fixes the issue!
I am just starting and I wanted to ask which clipper should I buy ? I deciding between frsh fade JRL 2020c , Babyliss low pro and Stylecraft rebel. I heard a lot of people that complain about the switch click and about the guards of rebel. So which would you recommend?
While there have been slight problems with the switch (StyleCraft sends you a new one if that happens), and I don’t LOVE the guards myself; I would say it’s the best choice. For the price, you’re getting premium guards (which you would otherwise have to pay separately to buy with other clipper companies), you also get a charging stand, multiple colour options, and the option to put a stretch bracket on the clipper. I love the LoPro as well and have both on my station, but the rebel is the clipper I keep going back to for majority of my haircuts. It’s a great all around clipper that can get anything done. If I had to pick one clipper to do a whole haircut with it would be the rebel. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I have the jrl onyx, the new matte black babyliss lithium fx, rebel, caliber 50 cal limited edition and my favorite is my jrl and the rebel coming in a close second. I put the 3versince ceramic staggertooth cutting blade with the jrl taper blade on the onys and it pumps out the softest fades I’ve ever done. But on the rebels I like the way the motor feels in my hands and how lightweight it is. My least favorite is the caliber, I put a super thin fade blade on it that I grinded down to make thinner to take out bald lines and and to give me another transition from trimmer line to clipper closed line.
Saludos desde cuba good job 👍
mine broke seems the lever screw wont unscrew tighten or loosen it just moves left or right.I love them clippers!
Nice job 👍 I like my rebels and the dub magnet guards that come with them... I just had to replace my sprig because it broke and my rebels were getting to loud...
i’ve been using my rebels for a 2 month and they’ve started snagging hair when going through bulk. tips on how to fix that?
Hey man, thanks for your comment! What I would do is 1) deep clean your clipper using either andis blade care, or by taking the blade off and brushing out any hairs that’s accumulated in the clipper over time 2) oil your clipper regularly I’ve had this happen a couple of times with different clippers over the years and the above always fixed it. It’s important to keep clippers clean and lubricated at all times to make sure they’re working as intended. Let me know how it goes!!
This snagging hair issue has put me off buying these clippers. I have had this issue in the past with clippers and I have sent them back, I can’t be bothered with the hassle. I might buy the calibre bmg.
@@Media-oh8xcI got the caliber 50 cal limited edition and hate that clipper. There’s zero feedback in feel when cutting with it and no crunch sound at all, sucks with bulk too. Maybe the big is better but like I with the rebels, I’m never buying another caliber clipper again. Their customer service sucks too.
Just bought these 2 months ago and now it doesn’t hold as charge. Dies within 1 minute of keeping it charged on the dock 🤦🏻♂️
Wow! I actually have never heard of this issue happening. I would send them an email explaining the issue to see what can be done. I had an issue with my power switch and they were very quick to help me and send me the replacement part. Let me know how it goes if you end up going with this option! I’m curious as to what may be causing the issue.
Bro if you want to sell them hit me up...
Hey thanks for the video. Do you use the guards just in open and closed positon or also halfway?
Hey Alex! I believe you left a similar review in another video with a great observation! When doing my fade, whether I’m fading up or down, I tend to use my guards open and closed, but with the exception of the 0.5 guard. When I’m comes to detailing however, I play with the lever as needed to get rid of dark spots or accidental lines that may have been made. That all being said, I use the above as a “guide” rather than a strict set of rules. This is because everyone’s hair and head is different and as barbers we often have to make minor adjustments to our systems to the client in the chair. Thank you for your comment and let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!
Hey, thanks for the video. So basically the only guard you use also in the halfway position is the n.0.5 guard? All the other guards are just open and closed?
I totally agree.
Thanks for the feedback bro!
I have the Alpha 2.0 which for me is a detail clipper due to the blade one side has a fade master blade and the lever side is a bit smaller for taking out lines
best blade ever bro
came a long way bro
