For how long do you do these exercises? Like 1min or 2min then rest? Repeat 5 times?
Eyyy, Pilipinas Represent
Thanks for this very helpful video.
Nordic Leans 🥰
👌
Playing ultimate is my job. I'd love to be able to say that hahaha. Good podcast!
great episode, i love it!
Is it okay to do stretches like this before a game? I've heard stretching should only be done afterwards 🤔
This is dynamic stretching which is good before a game. Not static stretching where you hold a stretch for a longer time
Throw that plastic disk boy
🫡
Yup. This applies in all things. Say skateboarding. If you got kick flips down pat, and want to better at tre flips, but can't get the full rotation, practice 360 pop shove its to get the full rotation, then add the kick aspect into it. Or fighting. If you are great at defense, but have trouble in the wrists when punching, work on the punch, and strengthen the muscles. 🍻
The cutting breakdown up yet?
Lmao! Imagine getting injured playing with a frisbee. Soft ass "athletes"
Atg split squats and tib raises stay on top
You used the term D Gap. What is that?
D gap = space between the defensive player and the offensive player. Think of it like a head start for the defense towards the space which they anticipate the offense will cut into.
Excellent advice, thanks!
are these barefoot shoes?😮
Yes
You forgot to put the frisbee emoji in the title.
True
This is cool, I am guessing you need quite a bit of flexibility, right?
15:49, I like this idea of differentiating on stage vs off stage cutters. And I wonder if how quickly and how often there is an on stage cutter continuation ready when the disc moves is a good gauge of the quality of the offense...
I would say that it is, yes!
This was so helpful Justin. I make so many of the same mistakes (and more) and its hard to know if its positioning, athleticism or something else. Thanks for posting! Hope you do a whole series on this
❤
dose boxing count as "other games"?
Great plan, thanks for sharing Gonna give it a go this year Because to put 3 frisbee practice + 3 gym + some stretching is really a challenge. Especially when you have full time job, relationship and etc 💪👍
😂😂
Hy bro
I enjoyed it so much. I have been playing hex offence since 2020 and still learning.
Cam Brock is such a homie for that lol 22:50

Hey Justin! Just recently found your instagram after I friend directed me towards it. Just started checking out your CZcams videos and podcasts you’ve released. I have a question on splitting up lifting days with practice days. Let’s say I have practice MWF in the evening or at night. Would lifting Tuesday and Thursday morning give enough time for recovery between these high intensity practices/lifts? Basically, have a high intensity practice Monday night, sleep, then Tuesday morning have a high intensity strength workout. You would then have most of Tuesday, Tuesday night’s sleep, and most of Wednesday until evening practice where you are not doing high intensity work.
Yea that woks too! What's "enough" is relative to each person. What's most important is what works best for you. From my experience, the more rest you can get between days the better, so this sounds like it could work!
Catch you D's 😂! The amount of times I hear this, b3cause I'm bad
LLEEEETS GOOO Love this intro
Great podcast episode! Question: Would you do weight training on the same day as ultimate practice? So that you get a break the next day to recover
100%. I explain it more in this video. czcams.com/video/M-agYEk6sj4/video.htmlsi=nczeswwcw-VCJVuF
Where do you get the thing that suspends your disc in the air? Asking for a friend.

dude the intro and outro are straight jump scares, they're so much louder than the main speaking content of the video. apart from that, thank you for the exercise tips!
I’ll turn down the volume 😂
Intro sounds like a sports radio intro 😂😂😂
I think you should keep your mustache
