Did you make the arms to close automatically once yhe ship got close? Or were you controlling the ship and the arms lol I'm asking because I'm not sure how you were able to catch that and I've never played ksp,the game looks really cool tho.
The mod that adds the arms allows you to control them from another craft. Other people on CZcams have managed to switch crafts and control them that way too.

It's called ZTheme on CKAN and Spacedock. It's pretty nice, and applies itself to a lot of menus from other mods as well.
Now write a flight program to land automatically.

There is one already. There's a KOS script mod that will fly your Starship for you, including launch, booster landing, maneuvers, docking, and ship landing or catch.

Really nice ! The only unrealistic part is that Starship will be much closer to a suicide burn than your landing (if you want to go realistic). At least I think.
Yeah, I could have started the burn at 800-900m and it woulda been much smoother, needed the extra time to hover some tho :) Definitely hoping to practice more and get it perfect.

It’ll def be closer down to the tower, but it won’t be a suicide burn. The only reason f9 does one is because even one Merlin engine with 95% of the fuel gone is too much thrust to softly, slowly land the booster, but SH will have a lot more thrust control and redundancy.

About that. (Basically the company behind ksp 2 shut down and the dev team is basically done KSP LIVES FOREVER!)
KSP 2 absolutely sucks in all honesty. It’s a game no longer receiving updates, has no fps unless your on a multi thousand dollar pc. Ksp runs 100fps on my 1080 i7 pc from 2017. Ksp has a huge modding community, more parts, still gets updates.

@@GochonkjohnThere's multiplayer mods, but that's not really the scope of the game. It's an orbital simulator/sandbox. Not much more.
That being said, there is a mobile game called Spaceflight Simulator or SFS. It's the same concept albeit much more basic and 2 dimensional.

The mod is called KSC-Extended. Its a pretty great modm it requires Kerbal Konstructs and Omega's stockalike structures as mentioned

Mod list: Trajectories (Target indicator on the ground) KSC Extended (landing pads, second VAB, more launchpads, etc) Kerbal Engineer Redux (can't play the game without that one lol) EVE Redux (Clouds) Waterfall (Engine plumes) QuickSAS (SAS position hotkeys for the number pad) Kerbal Reusability Expansion (Landing legs, landing leg housing, RCS thrusters) OPT (Descent control fins, stock winglets will work just fine tho)

What would make this better is if it was a centered landing, then it would be 10/10 EDIT: Mod list please.
Yeah, I managed to get dead center on some later attempts but I wasn't recording those. Mods used are Kerbal Reusability Expansion for the landing leg structure and RCS, with OPT used for the control fins (those work just fine as stock parts too tho). Everything else is stock :)

I try to use that same camera mod but when I try to use f2 to hide the gui it breaks the position of the camera. Did you encounter this problem, and if you did how did you fix it?
I never encountered this with my usage. The being said, my best guess would be to have multiple cams try switching between them.

No sadly. I think it's optimized best for the 50MP main camera, trying to get as much light as possible while keeping the video noise-free and time-lapsing it all.
