CCI Driveline driveshaft for 2016 Polaris RZR 900 Trail test drive taking it easy for a first run. We rode semi-aggressive through a lot mud, hills, and the river in low4. The driveshaft seems to be operating very smooth and so far I’m very pleased. It was very easy to install. See RZR EDGE IN MOTION how to video on how to install. He made a very good installation video.

    Thank you for locations and mounting idea. Your comments were kinda dumb though as you talked about an off fan condition to drive through a deep water deep mud condition? Huh? What did you do before? You waited till it fell below fan on temp right? 😄

      To answer your question what I did before….well what happened was the fan stopped working and I had to buy a new fan. This actually happened to me twice before I got the switch. It even happened to me one time after I installed the switch because I wasn’t paying attention and forgot to override the fan and cut it off. I’ve gone through 3 fans already and they aren’t cheap!

      That sucks because it really works great and I use it every time I ride. I get a significant temperature reduction by being able to basically over ride the thermostat and turn the fan on early or cut it off. I’ve lost at least 3 fans by hitting deep water not thinking about it and the fan was running. As long as I remember to shut it off I haven’t lost a fan since using this accessory. Plus I’ve gotten significant temperature reduction in hot weather by being able to run the fan early and/or longing.

I’m thinking of upgrading to a promaster or sprinter and it’s nice to see they are so tall. I may end up upgrading my sons rzr while I’m at it. 👍🏽

    Nice video! Just a couple quick questions as I just order this exact same setup for my Polaris RZR. How did you wire your switches? Did you just run them to the fuse block? So you cut all your wire harnesses? What about the ones that had a relay on them? I am just having trouble on how to wire everything up to the fuse block.

    Does it make a clicking noise when you’re driving it? My 900s makes a clicking noise and it’s coming from the flex bearing so I ordered a flex bearing to see if that was the issue.

    • @jonathanalvarez4592
      @jonathanalvarez4592 Před 2 lety

      Unfortunately replacing the carrier bearing would only be a temporary fix. The factory drive shafts are very poor quality. The factory drive shaft is basically what you would have in a riding lawn mower and aren’t made for speeds above 20 mph. I recommend an entire new drive shaft from CCI. It’s one of the best investments you could make on your razor

    Before you get butt hurt over my comment just think about your reasoning mr snake skin. “The wires aren only like 10 inches forcing you to put it near the other connector points” ????? So they “force” you to put it in a convenient place already where other connections are? Why should they put more money into copper wiring so you could put it wherever the hell u think is so much better since ur an expert? You don’t like the fact you can’t override the fan off when it needs to be on? Does a mud hole trump your engine frying? You don’t think that’s a bad idea since u could forget its off? U think Polaris engineers don’t anticipate the fan will be running in high water at times? How bout just let the damn thing cool down before hitting ur stupid mud hole? Your flawed thinking is what’s wrong with America today. Jesus man do u hear yourself talk? “Yea boy let me get that kit that lets me turn my pesky fan off when my shitty Polaris is hot as hell” “yee haw” “I’d much rather roast my 3500$ engine than let my fan chip chop a lil water” guess u took ur fan shroud off too which is exactly why it doesn’t matter if you part the Red Sea when it’s running

    Jonathan - use Zonas tape around the chest - 2 or 3 times around - and the sticky zonas tape will hold it all in place even with the older design with the leads I did this to ensure the leads and pads stuck in the proper place to the dog and you can get your reading - you are right - we should not have to do this to get the product to work effectively
