Enjoyable. I like the way you connect up the basic chords of the song.
I just learned the song today, Its a fun song to play! Ps, ive loved going through these videos, all really lovely ❤
Amazing job!!!! I love this song and I'm trying to learn it on the piano right now. Your video is a great help!
Same here, probably the first Randy Newman song I ever heard and only found out last month that it was one of his. Great performance! What happened to my favourite lines, "They'll love us, won't they? They feed us, don't they?"?
Forgot it! Thanks for reminding me.
A clear and concise analysis of the choice Scotland has in front of it. Well done Jamie.
Dope!
brilliant. always loved this tune. i like it even more now that im 60 than when i first heard it in the sixties ... when i was four. great job .good singing too.
VIVA DON ROBERTO!
Great can u do a tutorial or have the music 👌🏼
Fabulous stuff, Jamie and Pete!

Nice job my friend Congrats

Thanks for this and other Randy Newman tunes. It's sad that so few people the brilliance of his music. Keep on playing. I'm listening!
My favourite Randy song.
Good job 👍🏻
The way you’re singing it is like the Nina Simone version which is great but Randy’s original vocal tone is so much more emotionally charged IMO. Nice cover regardless.
Lovely! ♥
Fantastic!
Jeah ☝️
I agree with all you say and hope that people view these videos in droves. However the bulk of unionists especially those that are of mature years, still digest the Unionist backed media whether it is newspapers or traditional tv programmes. Until we have a fair share of the media, we will never persuade a large proportion of the "NO" voters. And then we have the more entrenched Loyalist Orange Order lot, who are still living in the 17th century and are a disgrace to a progressive all inclusive Scotland. Next referendum will not be a walk over by any means, but I am pinning my hopes on the younger generations who are informed through different media streams and are in sympathetic to the independence cause. For my self it will be YES once again, and again until we cast off the Westminster yoke.
Excellent stuff 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for this amazing interview. I could listen to Jamie endlessly. His gentle wisdom, grace and wit is just so welcome in these difficult times, thank you 🏴
Lovely ..... but you’re no Fozzie
AHA
Good Scottish accent, not.
The SNP are liars, once in a lifetime, clearly stated by all at the Indy referendum.
Fantastic. See you soon on the other side.
See you on the other side, Jamie! Hopefully with good news. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful videos and thoughts.
Excellent, thank you!
the polls are bleak to be honest, I hope they are wrong. #BothVotesSNP If you are thinking of splitting your vote please don't - that strategy only works if the SNP do well. They arent set to do well at all, they are set to lose seats. This cannot happen.
Don't trust those polls, only votes on the day count #BothvotesSNP
@@carolscott2182 I hope to god you are right but I have to say it looks awfully similar to 2016
@@glasgowmcglasgowfacevotegr7049 Curtice seems to show a different picture? We'll see, I'll stand at my polling station with my best smile and hold dogs leads etc as usual 🐕😁
Wise advice once again. Good luck Sir, see you on the other side.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you to make the right smart choice! -Greetings from Europe!
It’s time someone reeled you in Mr Jauncey. Your optimism is, in a way, uplifting but you have glossed over all the important issues. I could never put my faith in the SNP Government to realise the potential of this country, given their dismal reputation. If we did become independent we would face decades of financial hardship and uncertainty, as the SNP finds it has bitten off more that it can chew.
But you can in Boris and the English Tories?
No - not saying that everything is perfect (far from it), but I presently prefer the deil we know. If only the SNP would get on with the 'day job' and would stop blaming 'Westminster' at every turn.
You say you could never put your faith in a SNP government. Well the answer to that is support another party in an independent Scotland. It's called democracy! Their 'dismal reputation' has just got them elected for a 4th term. They do the day job, but rightly complain as Westminster limits what they could achieve. 'Decades of hardship' what on earth do you base this on? I hope it's not GERS figures. 25 out 26 categories estimates. Even accepting this, they only show how badly we do as part of UK. What makes Scotland any different from other countries of similar size? Denmark, Ireland, Finland, all do very well. Oh, the difference is they are independent. You say you prefer the status quo, a government that has brought is Brexit and all the damage this has brought to the Scottish economy. Farming is the next to be hit with the Australian trade deal. The future looks bleak, but you would rather ' hold on to nurse for fear of worse'. Self determination is normal. Who in their right mind would want their neighbour controlling their finances and limiting what they could do? Perhaps you should think a bit more before you suggest Jamie should be 'reigned in'.
@@colinballantine7868 I acknowledge your post but don't see the point in arguing about detail. We simply have different opinions.
John, thank you for acknowledging my post. Of course you are entitled to hold a different opinion. All I might ask is you watch the decisions of this Westminster government. Then ask yourself each time, is this in Scotland's best interest? Enjoy the rest of the day.
Splendid stuff . Thanks again 👏👏👏
Thanks Again Jamie for articulating the positive route forward for Scotland in a balanced and non aggressive manner.
Another interesting and motivational talk Jamie....thank you. Your country shall praise you for this series in the future. Well balanced, speaking for the people and a vast ray of hope and expectation.
A great vlog and series of easily accessible information. Well done, Jamie!
Excellent Jamie. Here at www.CaledonMedia.scot, we would love to interview you about the results, following the May 6 election, and Scotland’s future. Please DM us on Twitter, if you are interested: @CaledonRadio
That would be very worthwhile.
Scaremongering has started something popped up on CZcams something about bank of Scotland we will be bankrupt if we are independent .
To cross a ditch you need to make big jump not a small steps.
Brilliant Jamie, snp 1&2 🏴🏴🏴
Thank you 😁
Sorry Jamie but you lost me in a previous pod when you mentioned the greens. I cannot condone their gender madness.
Currency issue? Deficit? Central Bank? The UK is Scotlands biggest trading partner. How do you solve that issue? Do you want a better deal? The water in Loch Ness is irrelevant. You say it like the rest of The UK doesn't have it's own fresh water reserves. It's laughable. Who's going to fund this renewable revoulution? But but but independence!! A Pie in the sky fantasy which causes division, economic damage and uncertainty for decades. If you support it? Own it.
Beautifully put again, Jamie. Completely agree with you, and thank you again for sharing these videos and for sharing your thoughts. Sincerely hoping for the SNP to get the overall majority and for the Greens to get a big surge in the list seats. Both parties, in my view are the recipe for the progressive, tolerant, forward-thinking, country we should aspire to be. I look forward to your next video!
Lovely 😊
Excellent once again Jamie.....to the point and clear as a bell.....both votes SNP....simple as.
Excellent as always Jamie. Thank you 🏴👍
Great video, I am veering towards snp/green. Very true about Alba, this was a completely unneeded distraction at this crucial moment. Look forward to your next vid. Saor Alba.
Hi David, although the Alba party can split the list vote, perhaps its launch and uk media circus has highlighted the electoral system and persuaded SNP list voters to think twice? I suppose I'm hoping it's all good. PS I'm also voting Green 2. Cheers
Keep the videos up! The polling is a bit crap but hopefully that will change.
