Too many people playing the "lesser evil" game who don't understand the rules. If you're going for the "lesser evil" then you have to actually have a plan to make it "not evil." It's AT BEST a delaying tactic, but is MOST COMMONLY just a voting strategy of the lazy, the self-interested, the spineless. Voting for the "lesser evil" doesn't help anyone but the people who align with "evil." It SLOWS DOWN the rate of harm INCREASE rather than actually reducing harm. "Lesser evil" voting is just a maintenance of the right-drifting status quo. That's all it is. You can delude yourselves all you want about how the "conditions of resistance/protest" are protected so that the fight can continue, but that's just a smokescreen; you aren't resisting, you aren't protesting, you are just making excuses for why you knowingly support the very things you claim to be against. The truth is that you would rather vote for someone who will enable the mass slaughter of tens of thousands of people if it means your personal comfort won't be threatened as strongly....but it WILL be threatened because, as you keep nodding along with as you hear it, the people you vote for are the same ones trying to "find the middle ground" between their current position and the position of the fascists, which constantly keeps shifting their current position rightwards. You would rather "raise the temperature slowly" than have it "rise all at once," because it's all about your comfort, not what you're actually voting for. Because when you vote for the "lesser evil" you WILL get that obscene body count, all those people dead, mutilated, suffering, because you lacked any kind of courage to fight against it. Your "strongly worded letters" and weak protests amount to nothing but an annoying buz that the people you call "lesser evil" and say "we can work with" will 100% ignore except for lip service and empty gestures. Because that's what you tell them they can do. You TELL them that they can do whatever they want and you will vote for them, gleefully even, dog-piling anyone who stands against them, by your refusal to fight against them in the one way that you can given your laziness, your self-interested obsession over your personal comfort: with your vote. Because let's be honest, you have no interest in organizing. You have no interest in doing literally anything but the bare minimum required to signal your virtue about how much you care...but not enough to prove it with action. Organizing is the one thing that makes "lesser evil" voting valid. If you aren't using the time bought by it to organize and build a real movement then you are just adding to the problems, not helping lessen them. You know that everything you say is excuses, but you're so deep in them that you can't stop. its EXTREMELY RARE that Greens hold any office at all, even in very Progressive areas. I think AOC was right traqgically, that the GReens are not doing a ok job downballot and truth is they really could be. It seems theyre not really trying harde at all to get Greens into local offices and if they did Greens would be a whole different ballgame and its really really wrong that Greens are not doing well. I believe they do the bare minimum to stay on the ballot and they do well at stayijng on the ballots but they dont do well in any way at winning and if theyre ever goint to get to 5 ande if theyre ever going to be a viable Party they have got to start taking local races seriously and getr enough money and backup for Greens who want to run locally. Im a Green and where I live in DC they do enough to stay on the balloot but they dont really seriously try to win, they just go through the motions. One Green candidate here ran and asked for support and the support was absolutely not there for her, not at all. The person incharge of the website would not even work on her website. Its that bad. And this is why Greens stay weak and will never get to 5, not if they dont really really work at winning downballot seats. But Grees dont have it together enough to win bc they are not supporting their candidates basically at all. This is a tragedy and it makes me want to quit being a Green honestly.

In 2024, Israel lobby-funded Harris was anointed (not voter elected) POTUS candidate, from 2020 to 2024 she has served without distinction as VP, and in 2020 she totally failed as a candidate. She still can’t handle an interview. We’ll soon find out whether, unlike in 2020, she can handle a debate.
