There is a limit of number of treatments you can do under higher pressures.

@@hyperbaric I don't really see what would dictate the limit. What I really wanted to know is whether the deeper effects could be attained in less than six weeks at higher pressures.

@@markbr5898 It dictates the limit b/s there is a certain oxygen tolerance in the human body. Your question is a little general. In some cases, yes. For example stem cell mobilization occurs faster at deeper pressures, so you will get an effect faster at 2ATA than at 1.3 ATA. On the other hand, neurological conditions do not respond well to higher pressures at all, so going deeper would be counterproductive.

@@hyperbaric Thanks Dr Masha for the clarification. It is interesting that different conditions respond best to different pressures. I suspect that in most hospital multichambers, most clients are "thrown in together", without too much consideration of what is being treated.

It is individual. For someone 1.3 ATA might be a lot, for another person 2.5ATA is fine. However, generally we think of higher pressures as 2 ATA and higher.

@@hyperbaric how do you find someone who knows how to use HboT with cancer patients? I paid two naturopathic doctors one was a naturopathic oncologist with FABNO credentials and she doesn’t seem to know much and neither did the other. How do you find these people without having to spend thousands of dollars on consultation fees?

When someone is in ketosis they can assume that their blood glucose is regulated and they can go in safely. In fact Keto and HBOT are synergistic therapies, therefore when used concurrently they potentiate each other

@@hyperbaric ok thank you. I’m in ketosis everyday but I did hear thomas seyfried in an interview say something like if you check your GKI and its 2 or below get in that HBOT. Thanks for the reply. I’m doing this on my own because the two ND’s I’ve paid don’t seem to know how to use HBOT with cancer. So I pay for treatment OR a consultation. Treatment comes first I guess.

@@hyperbaric oh I as under the impression that being in ketosis actually makes HBOT more effective as you have now weakened the cancer cells prior to oxygenating your body. The press/pulse idea dr seyfried used in his mice study years ago. First get in ketosis, fast, cut off sugar and glutamine for a while (the press) then attack with Oxygen (the pulse). But I bet it works the other way around as well. I never thought of that. Thank you for your info!!!

Hyperbaric stands for hyper=increased, baric = pressure. Whever we increase pressure, even lightly, we increase oxygen availability and delivery. This is based on Henry’s law of physics. Different pressures might produce different effects. One is not better than the other, rather different indications require different pressures. Saying that mild pressure does not increase available oxygen is against laws of physics

They use hyperbaric chambers during expeditions in Everest for any climbers experiencing hypoxia due to altitude sickness. These are the balloon kind. Nobody would carry a metal one up the Khumbu icefall to camp 2. For this purpose they work incredibly well and have saved numerous lives.

Because it is not as simple as it looks. These microbes are intracellular and once the infection becomes chronic, it is quite difficult to catch them in a state in which they can be eliminated.

Hi Bella. While it is a great device, it is different from HBOT. HBOT uses pressure and oxygen, and hypoxie-hyperoxie utilizes fluctuations in oxygen concentrations.

It could be due to many reasons. Did you get get HBOT at the clinic or at the hospital?

@@fwlandscapes There could have been several things that impacted the pain: the pressure that was used, timing, etc. My suggestion is to go over the results that you've got with your hyperbaric practitioner and see if thy can adjust the protocol to make it more comfortable for you

I massively crushed my left index finger in a u-bolt press in 2003. It didn't completely server the nerves, but took almost 4 hours of surgery with several temporary pins and 3-4 months to fully heal wounds. The only reason they tried to same it is because I played piano, bass, and guitar since I was 4 years old. In fact, I had just finished an ep with a band of mine and was supposed to start touring in two weeks from the incident 😢. The point being, one of the things I learned is that the nerves overcompensate and become overly sensitized. I still don't have full normal feeling in my nerves to this day. The only way I could use it to play instruments anymore though was to desensitize it over a long period of time. That was a painful process! Nonetheless, I imagine that hyperbaric oxygen is only sensitizing those nerve endings (where they've been severed) even more. You'll probably have to work on desensitizating it slowly. It happens at the actual nerves, in the some, and in the brain. Not fun, but probably the only answer. Wish you the best!

It’s not thousands per treatment but you need so many treatments that it ends up being thousands of dollars.

If your nose was blocking 80% of your vision, you would be rubbing the hell out of it too.

Seems like he's allergic to something around him, that tends to happen to more sensitive people.

@@hyperbaric Thanks for answering i appreciate that, i checked it out and is it so that the go plus (4.5 ppm)has more hydrogen in the water than the pitcher(max 1.6 ppm) ? The only bennefit the pitcher has over the go plus is that it holds more water is that right ? So for someone who doesn't drink too much water the go plus will give me more hydrogen in less water ?

@@hyperbaric And the self cleaning . But i use destilled water is it than still neccecary to clean the unit or is there a real bennefit in the self cleaning ? My goal is to get as much hydrogen in the least of amount of water . 💪

It’s not just the air - it’s the high cost of the chamber, the staff, the building, the utilities, the doctors, his insurance etc etc. HBOT doctors aren’t in it for the profit- or there would thousands of HBOT clinics all over the USA.
