This is what most of us who left all of our memories, our family and friends behind and moved to Costa Rica or any country, it’s not that easy of a decision, and it is a nervous moment, but it’s all worked out for me, and I hope for the both of you too. LA Estancia has two for one breakfast, its not advertised but its a long tradition and on the meu they have red dots next to the breakfast items that you can choose from for that. Its an insider thing.

You need to go to Rinconcito Tipico by The obras sociales del hermano Pedro. where they cook chicken over wood and the fat of the chicken drips onto round potatoes. Its Q35 per plate of chicken and comes with salad, potatoes Antigua best tortillas and all you can drink fresco. Sooooo Good.

You are so lovely seen my Country that I realy miss do too I am in U.S.A. I left when I was 19 Years old but love my gram of shugar, my heart that gave me all my happiness. Hi, Im from Pana, those pathways, we call them callejón singular, callejones plural. Our music is not Caribbean, but marimba. Listen to Luna de Xelaju in marimba. Our music is more intricate, sophisticated and smooth like our spirits, is not drummy like the afro tahino music of the islands. We have black people in livinston Izabal. They are like that.

Hola. 😁 What a beautiful town. The colours as Kathy said are so vibrant and they really display what looks like a cheerful culture of the people there, especially the cemetery. The older lady with her goods on her back on the cell phone was so amusing to see. 😄 You did have quite the adventure through areas of Guatemala that are not on the normal tourist locations. I did a quick trip into Guatemala in the early 70’s when my Mexican visa was about to expire, back in the day when I’d spend months on end traveling on the buses and trains throughout Mexico. Ahh, the memories 💭😑, to be young again. 🥲

Definitely i will feel, i am in heaven if i stay in a market like this, there's no money enough for me to buy all the beautiful handicrafts watch in this market. For mayan people the colors in the cementery represents something, for example blue the sky, yellow the day or sun, black the darkness or night, green hope, white the bones, red the blood. The syncretism between mayan beliefs and catholicism is very note and allowed in the Chichicastenango church, i dont know if you watch it.
