Suzuki TL1000s blows up on the dyno
Had my Suzuki Tl1000s on the dyno for fine a tune with a Powercommander 3,sadly on the 3rd run the (suspected) bigend gave up. It made 129,5 bhp on the 2nd run tho.

Chiptuning en vermogensrun van een Peugeot Expert 2.0 120Hdi uit 2019 met 6200 km op de klok. Vermogen ging van 121,8 naar 194,1 pk en koppel van 321,9 naar 423,4 Nm. De eerste 150 km ook al een brandstof besparing (volgens het display) van 12km/l naar 14km/l kunnen zien, ik ga het nog beter uitrekenen na een aantal keer tanken. Het vermogen is uiteraard enorm merkbaar, op de snelweg iemand voo...

Thats why you always have your hand on the cluch! Even as a dyno operator you should listen to the engine and catch a problem before it realy dose damage!
Damn,very scrapey in the cylinder walls. Wrist pins,circlips,rings,mains,blown clutch,the big TLs are worth saving. Good luck with the investigation. There are buyers out there for the lump. Thanks MK
I agree they’re worth saving. I had a ‘99 TLR I bought new in 1999. I loved that V-twin torque!

I had one of these for many years,the engine was rock solid but it was one problem after another, great bike when it was okay for brief periods but i was glad to see the back of it.
Why dyno it they don't have that much power anyway😢

Honestly cannot see the point of dyno's , so many vids with engines blowing up on them,im sure its because theres no real load/ traction on the rear like you get on the road ,unlike the spinning wheel it sits on with the dyno , does it really matter what bhp it produces?
@@gsxr1000k6 Usualy you don't put a bike on a Dynojet dyno for max power but for making it run/ride smoother. I got my 05' Vfr800 on this same dyno 2 months ago and it improved the bike's ride quality massive, pick up is way smoother and no juttering anymore. There is load on the rear wheel by the way, you can't measure without a counter force.
Who changes gear with there heal ,i mean why? obviously hasn't heard of bent selector forks. I wouldnt be going to them for a dyno run.
I got one new in 1997 and never thought it needed any tuning. It would do nearly 170mph flat out and got there quick enough for a stock bike in those days.
"Nearly" means you don't know sh*t. He took it past it limit. You guys are not Suzuki guys.

That sucks, I was going to dyno my R eventually but now I don't want to. It hardly ever sees those kinds of RPM. Maybe once in a while I will take it to 8-9k. They drop off after that anyways.
I have built many bike engines and they all end on the dyno. Yamaha R6's redline at 15,500.....I wouldn't worry about your R1 blowing up.😉

I had an R on the dyno that didnt die but was weak and dropped horsepower on the next run. Big end bearings turned to jelly.

Boy that sounded like it was spinning really, really high for the big twin.
They are a high revving twin. The TLR limits at 11.5k rpm. TLS I think is 10.5 or something like that. But, that is gauge indicated. Turns out both are about 10k.

Destijds ook mijn Expert gechipped van 150 naar 200 pk en 450 Nm ... nu ca. 120.000 km verder , wagen heeft nog nooit zo goed gelopen ..... diesel verbruik is zelfs beter geworden met ca. 100 km plus op een volle tank

@@Blurky82 ich weiß aber ich weiß auch das man durch den Zaun sprechen kann und fragen kann ob es der Person gut geht. Und es gibt eine Nummer und dann kommt jemand der der Person hilft und absichert!
Oje, der Opel liegt 100 Meter weiter, da sind auch noch Leute. Zu viele Leute direkt an Wrack sind auch Contra produktiv.
