Thoroughly enjoyed the Jones impression, you have his cadence down to a tee. Been watching him for years! I definitely won't be moving my Kenobi Vader on because I'll just give him the clean look so I'm happy to have a clean and battle damaged Vader separately in my collection but Darth Maul on the other hand is a different story due to the new one looking way better. I think Hot Toys has leaned into the Hasbro mentality of giving us a figure that's nearly all there but short of being perfect so you'll have to buy more.

I was a 6 inch collector exclusively just a couple days ago, I have been stalking the Hot Toys reveals for years and this battle damaged vader has pulled me in to the 1/6th Scale. I Pre-ordered the Vader this morning.

As a collector tight on space, I don’t mind moving figures out from time to time as it keeps my smaller collection more varied. I also try only going for 1 interpretation of each character but obviously exceptions are made from time to time. That said, I hate moving on from figures but sometimes I feel it necessary to retain value or financially plan for pre-orders: I agree the community can be a little excessive with moving pieces out of their collection (it’s how I’ve scored new, great figures for cheap) but we do all complain about shelf and storage space. Having a character gap in my collection is ok if I know I have a better one coming or if I’m shifting directions for the time being (e.g., planning for more Star Wars and less marvel and vice versa), especially if it cleans up my display a little in the meantime. It might sound like kicking the can down the road and you’re right but it does allow me more time to plan around releases. For example I’ve bought shelving in preparation for new releases or I may soon own my own, larger place when some of these eventually release.

NGL: Hot Toys did collectors dirty, offering DX27/28 Vader knowing damn well there was an even better damaged version dropping soon afterward. In between those is ROTJ Vader. Honestly I thought this vid was gonna be about collection obsolescence given the number of recent drops that have collectors putting stuff on the auction block. Its amazing some of the stuff that landed on eBay in the last couple months. Mace Windu drops: Sword Master Windu on ebay. Artisan Anakin announced: Anakin and Anakin DS popping up at sensible prices. Grievous announced: it's raining Sideshow Grievous on all sites. An interesting time for collectors indeed.

Is there a way you can mitigate mold if you're storing your boxes on top of the shelf? I don't have enough space in my house to store those beautiful collection boxes. I don't want to trash them either, I would rather keep them, but I'm afraid it will get mold anytime soon, any suggestion would help

If that George Clooney suit is real, I would actually be really happy. Primarily collecting MCU, my favorite shelf is my live action Batmen shelf. Having him is essential. The movie may be crap but I still want the representation. That hulkbuster 2.0, what could possibly be improved I wonder other than USB plugin? I'm excited for it all! My one thing is that I have $40 in rewards from Sideshow that will expire in a week. I'm hoping at least Deadpool goes up for pre order so that the rewards don't go to waste

I do still find that leak list not credible especially if it’s related to specifically this event. Scorch and Grievous were the only solid confirmations and the Terminator I feel is just a big guess since a bunch of people have been clamoring for it but there’s no sign of that 212th Airborne (and there’s no way they meant Hardcase instead, there’s no similarity), and no Superman of any kind. I have no idea what Shike Samurai is and one might argue they confused shirtless Huge Jackedman for Old Man Logan. But the leak said nothing about Jar Jar or Chewbacca or even the Black Widow or Mark 42. I think someone just made a likely predictions list and got slightly lucky. I also agree with you about reveals not being the same as releases or even announcements. I still eye that teased Nightwing on Sideshow’s coming soon graveyard and lose some hope with each passing year.

Yup , my wifes gonna hate me 😂😂 nah, jokes aside, she's cool with the figures. Eveb got me 1 ( which i don't know which one ) for my bday in aug. She rocks. But im so happy about the predator and terminator we might get. I started collecting when the crow came out, and i was focused on certain figures for a while. I know there's a chance we won't get all of these. The predator does look a little different than the old one to me. But i hope so for sure. Thank you, and will for always posting these vids buddy. Let the T2 terminator be the same. I already have the DX 13 and I don’t need a huge base. That predator though. I hope they release that one. Plus, as much is that Batman and robin movie sucked, that Robin suit is pretty fire. Chewbacca doesn’t fit in my collection but even I have to admit it’s pretty cool.
