Galaga Arcade 1Up Console Game Joystick Troubleshoot & Repair
The joystick on my Galaga console game from Arcade 1Up started to become unresponsive, and then quit working altogether.
Let's take it apart, figure the controls out, and troubleshoot / repair with a meter and some minor soldering.

Part II of the Power Wheels / Milwaukee Battery Build Components used in this project: * Low Voltage Battery Cutoff Module: amzn.to/2GeE3J5 * Terminal Block: amzn.to/2NM33vx * Wire Ferrules & Crimper (similar style) amzn.to/3c8Eh...
Power Wheels Vehicle 18 Volt Milwaukee Battery Upgrade!
zhlédnutí 869KPřed 4 lety
Convert your Power Wheels Vehicle to Milwaukee Tool Red Lithium Battery Power! Tired of your kid's Power Wheels battery crapping out after 20 minutes? Tired of charging that 10 pound brick overnight, only to have it die again halfway down the block the next day? I was too, so I removed the stock battery, and installed a pair of Milwaukee 18 volt Red Lithium batteries in its place. UPDATE 1/2020...

Quick demonstration on how to accurately fill your fork tubes with the proper amount of oil, using a syringe and some airline tubing.
You, sir, are a mensch. This and the discharge monitor video were *exactly* what I was looking for. 10/10, no notes.
And thanks for the knowledge of the video, I had no idea about the voltage issues u spoke about, I have a barbie jeep with the 1st gears removed and 2 18volt 9ah batteries and I also took the Escalade tires that are like triple the size of the jeep so it looks so damnn cool lifted and extra wide, and I wrapped the tires all 4 with mountain bike tires with huge knobbys, I'm 210lbs and the jeep roosts the grass up in my yard and also flips me str8 backwards not even just a wheelie it completely flips backwards, then the Escalade I took a hoover board battery out and use that 😂 my kids love it, but removing 1st gear ⛮ makes the top speed over 25 miles per hr but u have to be careful because it takes like 40ft to stop so you have to be in a open field
WHY DO U NOT HAVE UR TIRES wrapped IN RUBBER
I dig it. My son's Jeep needed a new battery, ordered all the parts today. Everything except the low voltage cutoff will be here tomorrow!
❤️
We get about 30 minutes with a milwaukee m18 5ah battery when riding on uneven grass but we keep spare batteries in the trunk 😂. We never run out of juice 😊. Gonna grab a 12ah when they're on sale
What about overloading your motors ? Won't they burn out faster with 18v
You didn't show the wiring to the childs gas pedal. Obviously, she needs to be able to stop when necessary. Please show how. Thanks.
Did you have a single-motor driving just one wheel or two?
what type of cable did you use? what size?
This is a great video. The sparkle effect when both batteries are mounted under the hood so flawlessly…. Hilarious😂. Good work my man
Good vid. Very clear.
Hello will this also prevent the rapid drain down of the battery? Thank you in advance
Hi I want to run this setup in my kids 24v academy Jeep. Is that voltage regulator able to step down from 36 to 24 volt? If so so I can order it from Amazon. Thanks waiting for your response.
You made the girl to run in circles for almost 1.5 hr?
nice video! when i saw the other powerwheels video i was looking forward to watching a bunch of your videos and then bam.....4 videos LOL how's this guy got 8k subscribers with 4 videos!? did you have another channel that the libtards at google banned> the content is well done , wish there was more!
DUDE! i am f**king imoressed with that run time! what amp /hr batteries are you running in parallel? Im in the process of boosting my girls minnie mouse jeep lol. i quickly installed a dewalt 20 volt and the girls were laughing their a$$es off it was so fast. i have 2 porter cable 18 volt 775 high torque motors im going to install this week, just need to find 2 pinion gears. Excellent video , ill be checking out your others for sure!
i have a 2006 honda crf 450r. it has air front forks. do these use oil too ? or just air ? and whats settings on compression clicks, and rebound clics. ?
where do you get the sticker
This is awesome
Parts list?
as a grandfather, i loved the out takes....lol.... so cute....lol
Wow!! Extremely thorough explanation. Just what I was looking for. I’m looking to do the same thing. The power wheels I have has 4 24v motors. Will it matter on the voltage if I run two batteries in sequence?
Amazing video really appreciate this. I installed a m18 on my sons lightning McQueen directly onto a speed controller without the low voltage cut off and now will be adding the module. Luckily my batteries are safe 😅
Also just added almost everything on your list of supplies, except for battery. Hopefully you do get that small commission
So where can I find the info I need to buy? This will be my first time doing this so I’d like to do it right and safely. All I got because all I knew I needed was the red adapter with fuse and wires connected but I would like to know the rest I’ll need please
Does this damage the gears inside the power wheels… meaning from 12v to 18v now
No one else had a problem with the motors burning out? Mine last 10 mins then a awful smell of burning and now wont move
Hi! Great video! I was allways concerned about connecting two batteries in parallel due to mutual chargings, but I see that you have done it without any hasitation. Have you noticed any issue with such parrallel connection later on ? Thank!
This is so helpful! My kids thank you in advance and I feel much better about using my Makita batteries now!
Question - do you know if your dc speed controller ramps up the voltage? I have a 24-12v DC step down converter for my sons power wheels but I can’t get it to power the “high setting” consistently. I think it might be because the converter can’t handle the “instant on” of the power wheels pedal.
Mum will approve you modifying her „power tools“… 🤭
Dad of the day!
What gauge of wire is everyone using for this modification??
Does the listing for the crimping tool include the wires?
It was funny i was going to mention the low voltage cut to save the life of the lithium batteries. Then somehow, the video of you putting one in popped up
Good and vid am sourcing the bits for my Ranger . Me daughter is going to love it 👍🏻✌🏻❤️
Ty bud
Great video!! 👌📹
So, I dont understand electrical at all. Lol so I need help. I have an 18v Ryobi battery. How should I set it
Can i ask did you change the controller board ty or still 12v
Wheres the link for the plate for the potentiometer
Wish these weren’t flimsy. My joystick and fire button failed after a year.
Nice. My batteries only last about 7-8 minutes
Your vids are great. I know you haven't posted in a long time but hope to see more. these 2 really helped me and your presentation is great.
I'm running with one battery in a Ford raptor powerwheels and one battery in a off brand dodge viper. Will this cutoff be good for a 1 battery setup? Both running milwaukee m18 batteries and m18 offbrand batteries
You can always use just one battery and charge the other one in the meantime
Wholesome. Thanks for the breakdown! I’ll have to pick up one of those low voltage cutoffs for my build
😂 Love all the potential criticism that would be made by Sabis, Great job on the full video explanation.
Why do you need this? Getting ready to upgrade my grandsons
Digging the kmfdm sticker :D
