Simple Sun-Dried Tomato and Italian Herbs Farfalle (Butterfly) Pasta: Only 2 Ingredients plus Water
Tomatoes and pasta go together like peanut butter and jelly. I recently decided to put them together in the form of fresh pasta noodles. Serve this sun-dried tomato with Italian herbs pasta with a homemade béchamel or Alfredo sauce and you have a fantastic meal. While this pasta recipe can be cut into any shape, I think the farfalle (butterfly or bow tie) shape is quite fun and tasty. This video shows it all!

    We are in Australia and My little girl loves one type of almond milk and the store that sells it is now discontinuing that brand 😢 so I am definitely looking forward to trying this. Thank you so much for doing this recipe and showing me how easy it is 🫶🙌

      Hi. I assume you are referring to using queso crema instead of cotija. Queso crema is a creamier, softer cheese (like the American cream cheese) than Cotija (which is a harder cheese like sharp cheddar or parmesan). I have not used queso crema as a substitute in this recipe and not sure that it will work. You can certainly try it as a sub, but I don't know if it would produce the same cake texture. If you try it and it works, let us know.

    I would think that you could make a large batch and can it in 12 oz portions for later use. This would be helpful during the holidays. I don't have much experience with canning, so I am not sure.

    Molasses being "commonly found in Russia" sounds hilarious. This recipe has nothing to do with real Borodinsky bread which must include fermented rye malt instead of molasses not to mention missing pre-dough step that is based on a process known as flour starch gelatinization.       I jumped out of my chair when you said you don’t eat bread. Like you, wheat flour was my business. I used to bake all kinds of breads at a local farmers market when we lived in TN. A few years ago, I found couldn’t digest wheat or dairy. I also became prediabetic. Huge diet overhaul!! There is life after wheat! I guarantee it! There are some very creative low carb recipe writers on CZcams. You will eat bread and pasta !!! I will check out those other recipes, too! And I am sharing this video with a friend

I knew I would be challenged to learn how to bake gluten-free foods. I have quite a few gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan videos and recipes... granola bars, brownies, cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, yeast bread, etc. But you are right, there are so many great gluten-free recipes and even baking ingredients on the market these days.     Cassava absorves lots of liquid indeed , in fact in Brazil there is a similar bread made with only cassava, cheese and oil and not corn , (tapioca, mandioca or yuca flour are other names for cassava ) but is more like a liquid batter they made it actually in liquifier blender and the batter is poor in a cupcake tray or similar the results are very similar to pan de bono but more airy as it rises more.

    I discovered these at 7-11 in Florida and love them! I made them once from scratch, didn't turn out so well, made them with a Goya mix--next time I'll use the food processor! Thanks for the recipe!

I think for this type of bread without gluten and lots of cheese, the food processor "makes" the bread since it thoroughly blends the ingredients.     These are REALLY good & exactly the recipe I was looking for. Our family LOVES Pamela’s cookies & I had bought all the ingredients to attempt to duplicate those but didn’t know any measurements & really didn’t want to just wing it & so this here was spot on! Thank you

    Some recipes use butter milk. Some don't use butter milk or butter or soda. Aslong as it has mashed potato salt and flour it'll work out fine any other ingreidient is optional and down to personal preference. Also some don't fry them with butter or oil some stick to a tradtional dry pan dusted with flour

    Yum, potato bread is my favorite! You have the modern day way (many decades) of making reewena but it's still yummy! I reakon riiwai are the best type of maaori potato (a purple potato) to make reewena. Tastes way better than regular potatoes. If no riiwai avail then red potatoes are the next best in my opinion but nothing wrong with regular starchy potatoes. 2 years behind since you posted but thank you for sharing your knowledge of paaraoa.       Hi! Obviously, you know this bread well. It sounds like this is bread of your culture. I appreciate the kind words considering this was a new bread for me, and I really wanted to bring light to the Maori culture with which many of us Americans are not so familiar. The Maori have such an interesting rich heritage; we (the world) should know more about it. I was hoping this video would encourage an interest. I love purple potatoes!     My mom would make these, put applesauce on them, and roll them up. These and soft boiled eggs with toast strips for dunking the yolk are my favorite breakfasts.

    St Patrick was from Wales, Britain as an entity did not exist until the beginning of the 1700s. Soda bread and potato Farls are both from Ireland and versions of each are known to have existed for hundreds of years, long before Ireland was partitioned in 1922. To state that soda bread is from the republic and that potato farls are from the north is so reductive that it is actually false. BTW I like your recipe and your farls looks good although they are much thicker than the farls we make in Ireland. These days, some finely chopped scallions are often added to the mix. Best wishes

      Hi. You can use bleached flour or even mix them including the bread flour. I often mix all-purpose and bread flours in bread baking depending on what I have, can find, or if one is much cheaper than the other. For this recipe, I think a mix would be just fine.     unfortunately the amount of mashed potatoes that I used, exactly as you show in the video, produced a very dry meat pie, my opinion to much mashed potato's, on my second attempt, i just used mashed potato flakes, a teaspoon at a time, so the end result was very little meat pie juice left in the pan, this produced a lovely meat pie that was not dry, rather very moist, not juicy.
