    Two words: LOCATING PINS. You cannot rely on the vacuum to expand the inner tube, I would use something like a motorbike innertube then you can get a very good pressure into it.

    Enabling ironing with a 25% flow would have given you flat top surfaces. This would just leave the vertical faces needing sanding.
