The trailer was better than what was released, as a fan for 38 years, Frozen Empire was a let down. Good beginning, slow tedious middle, short ending, no good music or anything that felt like 84.

love your balanced take on this show. the music and sets feel like star wars, although I am suspending judgement until the finale. Finales make or break a show for me. For me the most important things are character arcs, dialogue and the message of the show.

I found your channel after watching neon genesis evangelion, and recently I’ve been trying to become more religious as my family was never religious and I wanted to say thank you, your videos are helping me want to go out and read the verses you say in these videos or read about the topics mentioned in these videos.

I was frustrated with how quickly Master Torbin went for the poison. For one, I thought if he was mediating for years, surely he would have come to an insight of his past that was plaguing him, and two, Torbin did not strike me as someone who is a Jedi Master, who couldn’t see past their transgressions and see the other, and be willing to admit fault. But I suppose the point is nobody is perfect. Luke isolated and blamed himself for creating Kylo Ren for instance, and it took him time to ‘come back to himself’ like the prodigal. I think you may be right about Sol having a chance to bring Mae back, will see what the rest of the series holds. Thanks for your breakdown Fr!

Nice to see someone not following the long line of people bashing this show before they have given it a real chance. I turned off Andor after the first episode and later went back and thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like people hating here should do the same.

Finally. Someone who has something meaningful to say about the show. Grief is something in life that we all have to bear. Sometimes more than we would like.

Star Wars can teach us so much about life. Thank you, Father for leading us down a path of understanding and a way we Star Wars fans can become better human beings for ourselves and others.

The first episodes are great. The haters don't know what they talk about when they trash them around. Master Sol is already one of my favorite characters!

Love the commentary. Very insightful. You can definitely see the grief that Master Sol is dealing with as well. He seems to be dealing with it by administering compassion towards others. Really enjoyed your outlook on this show.

And sometimes you think you've processed your grief, but something (a song, a memory, a photograph) will resurface the feelings again, and you realize you'll always carry some of that grief with you. Jesus himself was not immune from sorrow. It's part of being truly human.

I saw one of the scenes previewed in the cinema when I went to watch the 25th anniversary re-release of The Phantom Menace last month and the first thing I thought was the score was SO John Williams and I couldn’t be happier about that. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack!

While it's hard to judge a whole show on only the first two episodes, your review really makes me hopeful!!! There were some things that the creator of the show said beforehand that made me a bit worried, but the sheer premise of the story being set during the High Republic is too intriguing to be ignored!

I am actually looking forward to this after seeing some of the reactions. I love Old Republic stuff and this will finally bring that vision to the screen.
