It's finally done...600 individual clips with over 1000 cuts, I have here the ENTIRE process from start to finish of my Sc300’s rear subframe restoration! This was done completely impromptu in terms of order of operations. I know there could’ve been easier or more efficient ways to do things, but this is how it went doing it my way... Amazing video. I rarely “wrench” on my SC’s and I watched this hoping to get inspired to learn and do a job like this on one of mine. It’s now clear. I will NEVER pull this off and the best I can hope for is to someday become buddies with these guys 😂. How do you remember how it all goes back together????
Question about the rear Supra TT brakes. I just threw those on my SC, but the brake pads wiggle a lot. Are they supposed to be tight in the caliper or have wiggle?

Def air hammer for the subframe bushing housings. Prob would powder coat over ceramic coat. And that's p much it

It looks like the poly bushes for the rear subframe mount, protrude too much. They look way wider than stock. Does this not offset anything and creat misalignment?
Doesnt stick out at all. No doesnt affect anything theyre direct replacements

I bought mine six years ago from a small car lot for 1100 dollars the only reason it was at the car lot and not on the road was rear subframe was rusted bad l ordered a used one from Texas and installed it my drive way it amazing how Japanese bolts break loose try that with a American car get out torch never again I will own a American car only trucks my 95 Camry wagon le V6 is very dear to my heart

3 months haha took my time with it. 19 days would be insane considering the work outsourced for ceramic coat and complete part replacement.

Does the excessive pedal fit the stock master cylinder? I thought it had to be the excessive master cylinder for it to work
When removing bolts holding driveshaft to trans or diff to driveshaft u never supposed to remove the driveshaft side bolts per the repair manual. Also not supposed to separate the driveshaft
Good to know thanks. Have had no issues especially when reinstalling them with red loctite
@@2jway it's because they're weighted and factory tightened. So you only remove the 3 on each flex joint and they say not to separate the driveshaft. I made both mistakes as well and have some extra vibrations as result.
