It's a pleasure to walk around here, I found so much magic in Toronto's amazing Yonge Street. Thanks for taking me around here.

The only 400-series highway that's 'close' to Port Perry is Hwy 407, which is a very expensive toll Hwy. The other two are Hwy 404 to the west, which is very slow in the mornings from Aurora south into Toronto, and Hwy 401 eastbound, which is also very slow. From Port Perry it could easily be over a 2-hr commute into downtown Toronto. If you can take rail to where you work, the GO Train is a good option to save some time and cost. Best to work in Port Perry or the N.E suburbs of Toronto, rather than plan on commuting. While it appeals to some as a vacation cottage-like environment, there isn't much appeal to the shallow Lake Scugog, when compared to actual cottage properties in the far more desirable Muskoka, Halliburton, Kawartha, or Georgian Bay cottage areas. Cute and attractive town otherwise, and a frequent stop on my many M/C rides to the interesting roads beyond, and to the N.E.

This is a busy place, must be down town.
