Why these stupid trains! we would make all the wiring into the screen loop as in the Retina 2015 models, just make the inner diameter of the hole in the loop larger and more conductors and evenly distribute all the necessary wiring into the left and right screen loops. It can be seen that they did it on purpose so that more often it was small, like a soldered SSD / THERE is NO REASONABLE REASON TO DO SO, except to cut money from additional breakdowns!

We are facing many 13 pro's camera x0.5 not working and there is non genuine part message. Do you have any solution? We used to replace both x0.5 and x3 cameras to solve this issue. But I heard there is some flex cable issue (I check values seems okay)

If I ma ask,if get what your saying you shouldn't have issues when changing the screen, if a problem comes up with the face ID,Is not Recognized, it's your fault when disassembling you damaged a flex or what ever other piece,so changing the screen (LCD) Ect shouldn't and isn't responsible for the face ID not working after reassembled

But seriously why dont u just change the cable? Is it a harder task? May i ask how does the flex cable connect to the screen? Is it soldered or just slot in?

Please I need your reply😢 iPhone 12pro max front and back camera not working but when factory reset it will be working perfectly so I read the connectors and change the two chips attached now the Face ID does not work anymore and the camera so if I factory reset now only back camera is working and when reset it won’t work anymore pls I need your reply sir 😢

I’m triggered by the thought that this can be done easier. Don’t start by scraping the original cable. Just glue the new one on top. Then scrape both cables at the same time. Next just solder the lines together directly.

I have called the Apple support team, and they don't want to acknowledge the issue as design fault....replacing the screen at my local service provided is around $1000Nz, which seems quite wrong specially for the price we have paid for my Mac, thinking that Apple was a responsible brand. They told me that this issues has never been reported back on the service report.

I could make it successfully! I broke the bezel while replacing the broken LCD, of course I broke the bezel on the new one! I wanted to try first on the old screen, and I could remove the old (and good) bezel from the old screen. I used hot air, and my shim kit since it is the thinnest but the sturdiest tool I had. It took roughly 15 minutes to remove, but I feel super happy!
