Thank you found this video very helpful and on a level I understand. I do have one question and that is the device that you run the station wires into if you were to fill all twelve ports with lights would you be have to purchase another power supply or can you some how keep adding more of the device that the wires go into by using one positive and one negative port and still be able to use a toggle switch. How do you find that the unifrog points perform? I have an 08 that struggles on some the electro frogs I currently use. Woudyou say that the unifrog ones are better than a DCC wired electro frog? Tia. Loving all your videos by the way 👍

Smashing video Geoff.......When I did my wire fencing, I threaded all the posts on first and bent the wires at the ends a little (to stop them falling off) Then placed them flat near where they were to be positioned and did exactly the same as yourself using cocktail sticks to make holes. Glued them in position, trimmed end wires (after supergluing). It was very much easier and quicker to do it this way. Hope this helps. All the best.

Hi Geoff. Just found your video, really helpful. I find Gaugemaster backscenes do lose their bubbles after a while but ID Premium are superior. One issue I have is when I start attaching the roll to the board by the time it gets to the end I find there is a slight incline in the paper which isn’t really noticeable but once it’s stuck it’s stuck!!! I try to use the ends and base of the ply as a guide but it always ends up slightly not level!!!

Looks great Geoff, the idea of making the cottages low relief, is similar to what I done, on the shopping precinct area of my layout, when I made a Gaugemaster fordhampton supermarket low relief, and rebranded it as a co-op. BTW what's the short piece of music you used at the end of the video? I'd be keen to use it for the opening and closing titles of my updates, eventually!

Looking very nice Geoff. I’m debating a small stream on my new layout so the resin you used will be of interest. With your Dapol masts, it’s good you’ve added the wires too. A detail pretty much everyone leaves out are the feed and return wires that go on the outsides of the masts. Have you considered adding those to finish them off? Some thin black thread should work well

Have you seen the scrapyard on Everard junction

Good morning Geoff - really pleased to see an update from you this year. The countryside scene is certainly developing well, and its lovely to see the detail you put in when constructing it, from the cutting for the access to the railway and the line side cables. The bridge looks really good and gives the whole area a lift. I was surprised to see how thin the burnt umber was when you poured it on but then was impressed with the result so will give that technique a go, as I normally use water-based paints for my scenery but mix them thicker.
