ABANDONED! 1971 Chevelle Malibu! Will it Run After 20+ Years of Sitting?
In todays video I’m joined by Hunter, and we are getting a 1971 Chevelle Malibu running after sitting for 20+ years. This very original car has been in the same family since new and we are very lucky to be able to get it running after sitting for so long. Although it is a quick video, I hope you enjoy watching us get this old iron running.

In todays video we dig this 1955 Chevy 3200 truck out of the trees, and see if we can get it running and driving. After fighting the igntion for awhile and cleaning the truck out best you can for such a gross interior we take this old girl for a cruise back to its grave. This is PT.3 we put a cheap ebay disc brake kit on the 1957 Chevy Station Wagon. With that we also lower the wagon in the front and the rear, while also explaining how to change all the suspeniosn bushings and installing new ones! Its spinning over easy add some oil to the gas you pour down the gullet and send it itll be fine its a chevy ive brought them back from being stuck w no issues thats a runner compression sounds good fire and gas and it will run starting fluid is always bad even diesel motors dont like it bad things happen with ether and old gasoline engines oil enriched gasoline boys your gonna wash those cylinders quick that little bit of oil is gonna be gquick

Wow I love these cars. I saw a 57 Chevy 210 4 door wagon just this morning on South Florida craigslist Auto Parts that runs and drives for ten grand. I called the guy and he says it's his daily driver. He has three other Tri-five Chevy's a C10 some old fords and a VW bug. I'm going this weekend to check out his collection.

sometimes the after market timing gears are made sightly off and can display a false timing 2 or 4 degrees off

So why aren’t you an apprentice at a restoration shop or a helper? You can get paid learning this trade and earn valuable skills and knowledge making body panels and what not under someone that knows the skill….just a thought
Yeah I currently attend McPherson College for all that, teaches ever aspect of restoration. While doing that I also work on classic cars for people and work at an Engine machine shop. This summer will be working at a restoration shop. I try to include myself in everything possible when comes to restoration pretty much my life now. Not a bad thing though.

Just a heads up that camshaft needs way more assembly lube than that on it I built a lot of small blocks and I cover the cam in assembly lube I've never had one go flat

Looks great, but that fuel pump is going to die within a year. They're supposed to be down low close to the tank. They're built to _push_ fuel as opposed to trying to _pull_ it. Good luck!
Yeah it’s just temporary ( probably permanent) since using the mechanical one wasn’t an option.
Is it just me or are other people tired of every CZcams channel that has to play this head banging music in the background.
Don’t know if you make videos much or anything but it’s much harder to find good copy free music than you would think.
