RATING: PG-13/12A - FOR: Disturbing/Frightening Imagery, Thematic Material, Intense Action Sequences, and Some Language
SYNOPSIS: Ever since Montague’s defeat, Tobias the Hybrid Tram Engine has been feeling very confident about himself. More and more diesels are working on the island, and he even has a branch line of his own. However, not all engines strictly agree with Toby and his willingness to accept diesels, and Henrietta faces her own troubles of trust and acceptance.
Then, a wrench is thrown into Toby’s life when Oliver returns. Most of the engines abhor his presence on Sodor. Even Henrietta has doubts, but Toby takes it upon himself to give him a second chance. However, Oliver’s dark past and his plans are slowly brought to light, and everything that defines Toby for who he is is thrown into question with the re-emergence of Oliver’s oldest ally.
Now, Sodor is falling apart at the seams, and Toby’s very life is on the line. And it will take all of his strength to reclaim his soul from the Arcane Merchant.

Well howdy hey again you fine folks!
Look at that - a new trailer for "Arcane Merchant!" And only about 6 months after the last one, instead of two years! I'm on a roll, babus!
But yes, since filming has completed, I figured it would be a good time to put out another trailer! Editing is going slowly but steadily; currently I'm in the process of wrangling lines from my actors and recording my own lines, which is actually going pretty well, so there's that!
And oh boy, I've had this particular trailer in mind for quite a while. I have been waiting - WAITING - since 2015, when I first listened to this Florence + The Machine song on the "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful" album, to use this song for a trailer or promo for "Arcane Merchant," and that time has finally come, and phew! I knew it was going to be emotional, but even I'm getting choked up over here!
This trailer also formally introduces our new voice actor for Henrietta, Caitlan "Kayak" Hill (They/Them) a.k.a., @ButterflyCoffee ! I cast them in the role of Henrietta back in 2015, and though they've only started recording their lines recently, they have been knocking it out of the park, which you can hear in this trailer. I can't wait for you all to hear their full performance in the final film!
That's all for now! I should hopefully have clips coming sometime in the next several months, so be on the lookout for those, and one final trailer.
