If Klopp even hinted that FSG weren't listening to him, fans would have driven FSG across the pond for good. Klopp seemed reluctant to request essential reinforcements for key positions. The over-reliance on a handful of players such as VVD, AR, MS, TAA, Fabinho, and Henderson was glaring, especially given Klopp's demanding style of play. The lack of depth on the bench was not just evident; it was alarming. It's confounding why Klopp failed to address this issue. It seemed as though he had forgotten his role as the manager of Liverpool FC, instead focusing on his sway over FSG. This shift in power dynamics led to a situation where accountability became elusive, akin to the behavior of dictators.

the goal I'm picking is Salah vs Newcastle I think where him and Bobby play a one two its all flicks and back heels and your just blown away shows what he did with players he inherited and what he did with players brought in. Also they are on a terrible losing run. We still conceded two goals and could gave been more. Our real test is Monday next away to Villa. Good convo guys. I still think the biggest issue the PL have over rugby, cricket etc, is that the guys in VAR seem scared to overrule the onfield official. Look at the Everton decisions, apparently VAR didnt even think it was worth telling the ref to take another look, do we really think they are now going to say 'your decision is wrong!' The people in VAR need to be empowered to make calls. And I think they need to be independent of onfield officials until that happens.

Everton fans dislike Klopp intensely. We respect him as a manager, but are absolutely thrilled to see the back of him. We will not be coming out for any sort of parade. I'll never understand why you lads always throw Emre Can in as an Edwards 'failure.' He was Klopp's 'go-to' central midfielder when they were both at the club. Because he was clearly the BEST CM available to Klopp at the time. He's been brilliant as club captain for Dortmund and is currently one of the best CMs in Europe, preparing for a CL semi final.

Good show fellas. Loved Jurgen, greatest manager we've had since I started watching the club in the 90s, but looking forward to a new era, whatever that may bring. Fingers crossed Edwards is the real deal; if he is we'll be winning trophies again sooner rather than later, whether that's with Slot or not. Wishing the best for Klopp in the future, but as you say the man looks burnt out. I'm hoping a bit of recuperation and he's back in good form, though I think we've had the best of him for sure, he won't be the same manager again. That's what we do to managers!

I got to disagree and I do blame the forwards largely. Yes we have been conceding goals but let’s add context to it: 1) Trent got injured and even though Bradley did well it did limit our ability to create 2) Performances of LBs playing as the third auxiliary CB; Gomez was the one who did well playing that role but as soon as Robertson came back he got dropped. 3) The DM position; Endo has done a good job so far but he is a stop gap and a reminder of how badly our transfer approach has been when we tried to secure Fabinho’s eventual successor. The defensive unit imo is not as complete as the forwards so I expect more from the forwards 4) STs scoring their chances at key moments relieve pressure on the defence and that can make them be more assured

I'm a little less optimistic about our squad moving forward tbh. Back-up/competition for Alisson. CB cover/competion for VVD (33 this Summer) a fit and able deputy for (often injured/inconsistent) Konate. RB competition for Bradley if Trent relocates. DM competition with Endo (31), Bacjetic (someone with great regain numbers - not Trent) A potential overhaul upfront, with Salah looking a spent force and Nunez psychologically shot. That, with a new manager getting used to the league, might mean a 1or 2 year transition period with no guarantee of it taking off.

Who cares? Let's concentrate on Klopp please while we still have him.

Good show i really believe we need a clinical forward aswell as a dm and defender Darwin just isn't it ,jota is never available in theory that leaves salah if he stays we need more composure upfront . The funny thing is we could have still won the league playing as we were if we had clinical forwards because we still made a lot of chances for all our issues just putting changes away would have been enough . Mo Salah being jerk, shocking. He always been a jerk. His behavior was disrespect and I wouldn't be sad seeing the backside of him over the summer.

That Salah incident pissed me off yesterday more than it should have, I get that Salah would be angry with not starting and getting subbed on so late in the game, these things can happen, tempers can flare and they aren't such a big thing but with Klopp with only a few games left in charge I found it extremely disrespectful by Salah. Besides it's not as if Salah has been pulling up trees lately, he's been poor since he came back from injury, Nunez and Salah's work rate was shocking vs Everton almost as if both knew that with no Gapko and Jota around they weren't getting subbed off, both looked lazy off the ball that game. Salah is and will always be a Liverpool legend but I can see him doing himself no favours if he keeps that sort of behavior up, looked like he wanted to unload some stuff off his chest after the game, Mo needs to rein it in and show Klopp respect or I can see fans turning on him, I for one was angry with Salah yesterday. If a bid of 150m came in for Salah this Summer I think we would be crazy to turn it down nothing to do with the incident yesterday more to do with his form and age and rather than any more improvement he'll be declining, 350k per week we pay him miles more than any other player, could save the new manager with dealing with Salah in the sense of worrying about subbing Salah off in a game or not starting him and Salah not handling it well. This might seem very harsh on Salah because he's not a bad person and he's been an incredible footballer for us and who's to say that Salah's form hasn't just dipped because of this injury he's had maybe next season Mo is flying again and he new manager can tweak some sort of position for him to florish because of his age. Salah like many others, Jota, Jones etc haven't looked right since returning from injury except Andy Robertson but it took him around 3 weeks to get into the swing of things. That being said Salah is what 32/33 I just can't see how we could turn down an offer of around 150m for someone at that age I would see it as a beautiful parting gift from Salah to Liverpool, got him him for 30m, made him into a superstar under Klopp, broke records won the lot and on the way out the door help the new manager invest in the team like Coutinho money. Salah could go down as Liverpool's most perfect prem signing all things considered he's certainly been one of our best players.

A lot of very unhappy players showing their true colors at the tougher part of the season, when did playing two or three consecutive games mean you need a break, give the fans a break, play with a bit of pride for fucks sake.

Can’t wait for Slot to come in now. He’s not rigid and will move players into different positions and get a tune out of them. In regards WH, we played well enough to win just switched off again in crucial moments.

Its going to be a long close season especially if we cant win any more games this season. European championship should make it go a bit quicker. But its been a mad 9 years. Time to relax in the summer and think about other things.

Its not the making mistakes that bothers me as much they can't seem to address them never mind learn from them. In the end we are a soft team it has to be said. We wilt from any challenge. That's why we need to get at least 3 strong men in midfield with at least 2 on the pitch at one time.

Going into this season if you told me we would get top 4 and a cup I would have bitten your hand off. Even more so if you told me the horrendous injuries we had during the season, especially with long term injuries to Trent, Jota, Robbo, Matip and Alison. My biggest concern is the lack of improvement in Nunez, Jones, poor form of Szobozslai, Jota's injury record, Konate's inconsistency and inability to play two games on a row and Salah's form lately. We need real competition for Robbo (Tsimikas not good enough), quality replacement for Matip, Thiago and Bajectic (Bajectic has missed over a year of football and should go on loan next season to play regularly) and if Salah's goes as I cant see him been offered an extension we need two forwards a right winger and centre forward. That's six new additions
