We also moved to another state before my son’s treatment is done. He has had them for 2 years. We paid $4000 with insurance help as well. Had an exam to see if the other orthodontist would finish. They did it would cost over $8000. Crazy

I followed all directions from the oral surgeon and 7 days later the pain never stopped. Went back in and he says I got dry socket .flushed the open wounds and packed a medical stick in the wound. Now its just a waiting game i guess.but it still hurts

The thought of implants just freaks me out. I have a failed root canal. It can't be retreated. I'm not having any issues with that tooth whatsoever. It's #18 last molar on the bottom left. The current dentist I'm a patient of, is leaving it up to me as to whether or not I want the tooth pulled. I know if you have a failed root canal, it most likely means you have an infection. I don't believe this, so I'm not even going to have the tooth pulled. I feel if there was or is an infection, it's contained and I don't want any complications from getting that tooth pulled. Let well enough alone.

I literally just had this deep cleaning done to my teeth like 4 days ago. I hadnt been to the dentist in about 12-14 years when i got my braces out. I didnt really brush often and i never flossed. I had to get a tooth taken out because it had cracked for some reason in 2017 and i didnt have the money to fix it, nor did i think too much about it. I was young, still am comparatively (28). No it didnt hurt when they were cleaning them. Yes they feel alot better, but alittle sensitive on the one i got a filler on (the tooth beside the one that i had to take out). No receding gum line (good genetics? Idk). YES i brush twice a day now AND floss. Im taking it alot more seriously now, as should everyone. I hope i answered anybodys questions.

I am wearing Invisalign but I experience discomfort (feels like electric shocks in my teeth) when I drink water and when the cold hits my teeth. What can I do to fix this enamel issue please? Sensitive toothpaste from my dentist isn’t doing the job

Amazing explanation! I went to school for Dental Assisting did externship but barely got the chance to do anything because the dentist didn't want me to be active so I basically just watched. We had the periodontist come in an baby!! I was working !! Love it! I got into a different field after but I am thinking of beginning my journey in Ortho Assisting and I love the explanation and with each video I do believe I will be ready to apply to any Ortho office. I wouldnt get a permanent retainer simply because if you have a medical emergency and need an MRI of your head it can cause artifact in the pictures which could prevent the drs seeing them clearly

Removing all the decay is satisfying to watch. However my advice to anyone that is advised to get a root canal is to just say "NO! Remove it, and replace with a fake tooth please." ... My experience from getting root canals and crowns in my 20's has resulted in my teeth rotting from the inside out now in my 30's. The problem is that you cannot reach these areas with any sort of mouthwash toothbrush floss or anything else. Therefore that inevitable happens when your tooth hurts from the inside, leaving you with an impacted decayed tooth that causes abscesses and severe pain.

i need advice, i had a root canal a few weeks ago, it hurt so bad during the whole procedure its hurt after now its been so painful after almost 2 weeks, I have to go back to finish it up in a few days but I'm scared bc it hurts so bad what should I do? I'm scared to trust this dentist now

My orthodontist gave me a permanent retainer and when I asked about a removable one he said that it wasn't needed. Should I insist ? I really don't want my teeth to go back to what they were before braces 😭

Lol, I had that habit. My parents tried everything to get me to stop sucking my thumb. I never stopped until I reached the age of 8. I had a bit of an overbite, but it didn't show unless I smiled with my teeth. Now I have to suffer 2 years with braces. Listen to this man, guys. Don't end up like me😅

hi. so for the last 4 years i have had my back tooth broken off a bit its only the edge and the filling is still there. it dosent hurt i can chew on it but im getting it fixed in august. i searched in google and i think only the enamel is broken off. im not expert but beacause its only the corner there is no inside of the tooth showing thats why its not hurting how serius is it. i had old dentist check it out she was saying get it fixed as soon as possible meanwhile others says its not that serius

mine don't really hurt, but the sensation of having 8 things stuck between my teeth makes me want to floss constantly. Super uncomfortable

I have a rubber band just like that on my right side 24/7, at first it hurt so bad but now it feels weird not to have them in lol. I can also see a lot of progress with my midline so far, and to anyone going through pain from braces rn, push through! Trust me, it’s worth it!!
