Thank you soooooo much!! Every video I watched for the wet spot, they just say 'never mind'. I hope that works!! I just tried it, i'll update if they come without wet spots !!
Thank you
So many great tips, I struggled with bubbles. Now would tap them out 😅. Thank you !
Thanks for your wonderful video. I use your method it works wonders for me.
Awesome hack. Thanks for sharing. This technique is time-consuming, but it definitely works. It's been a while since you uploaded a video. Are you guys still making candles?
Does the foil prevent crystallization/frosty candle issues and what fo formula do you use to mix the right amount?
I tried this method and I get perfect smooth tops every time! Thank you ❤
Come back please I enjoy your videos
Could you please add subtitles 😢
However using aluminium carries its own dangers - using heavy metals - so i have ditched my aluminium as there are health hazards with aluminium. But if it works for you - great. Its all about trial and error isnt it.
Hello mate, thanks for the video and information share. Can I ask why you pour at 165, the recommended pour tempos 175. The reason I’m asking is that I’m new to candle making and I’m struggling with hot throw. They smell great when unlit but nothing on burning. I’m in the UK and don’t have access to most of the waxes and tools that you have access to. I can’t even get an EZ wick tool, candlescience won’t post to the uk and the only place that will is a seller on Etsy who wants 86 pounds for the tool and 113 pounds for postage!! She can do one, that’s what you call taking advantage of a situation.
Can I use this method to fix the wet spots? I’m no expert but I believe my problem is my jars are cooling too fast at room temp? My jars are antique glass milk bottles
What happened? You quit posting videos.
The purpose of using the foil should been mentioned from the start. Like im wondering the whole time and just figure out i guess to control the temp. To avoid wet spots, no bubbles etc
Really useful thanks for posting!
Hi, was wondering what would happen after curing is done and you ship it to the customer? Wouldn't it actually be affected by the temperature rise/drop and eventually get wetspots again?
I put my vessel in the oven those candles turned out perfect
Thank you. Very well done and helpful. ❤️
And the jars are cold lol
just a question, how is your candle business going as a male candle maker? I have been making and testing for 2 years but worried about launching..
I use an old saucepan, a toilet roll centre and a ball of string . It does the job.
I’m getting jump lines and I heated my jar and did your tinfoil method. Could I be pouring too slow? Can’t figure it out, and getting frustrated. 😒 Have any suggestions?
Cool!
This really works I tried it yesterday and today it will make a big difference in the tennfoil and not thanks for this great idea
Hi there where did you get your wick centering tool?
Thank you so much for this. So, I’ve been using soy wax chips from ProCandleSupply, their heating temp to add fragrance is 185, they suggest pouring at 135, but ALSO say the wax should be cloudy, which I’ve found doesn’t happen until it cools to around 100 degrees. I add color to most of my candles, and if I pour at higher temps, I get rough texture throughout, sinkholes, and all kinds of issues. Any advice?
If only you showed subtitles as im deaf I cant follow.
Great way of wasting a load of time and aluminium foil
Would this work on beeswax candles? I'm about to find out! Ill post update with my results. Great educational video on making candles with all tools needed.
Здравствуйте. Какой воск используете, скажите пожалуйста))).
I hope ya'll post a new video soon, enjoy them and learning from you.
Thank you this helped a lot
I just stumbled upon this video and all I can is T H A N K Y O U!!, these tips like the foil, humble butter knife are completely wicked and for sure will help me along as a newbie. 🤍
It's good to see another video from y'all and hope to see another before the holidays. You are a cute couple and I love your vibes. I also make candles and your tin foil method has helped me with my candle craft venture. I will be purchasing a candle from your website soon and can't wait to see what else you guys come up with. God Bless & Much Success ✌️😎🤙
Keep making those videos.
Thank you ! What’s the temperature did you in the hot gun?
Could you post your measurements
This seems extremely wasteful
What temperature you were working with at the moment you recorded this video? Is this for cold weather?
What fragrance load do you use per 8 oz jelly jar?
Cotton balls and tin foil be damned, just wipe the carbon off the wicks with a paper towel. Works every time
Just wanted to say thank you! Using foil around the candles totally works - it keeps them from cooling off too quickly and thus forming sinkholes near the wick. I will also add this idea: be sure to use the shiny side of the tin foil against the surface of the candle. This will do an even better job of maintaining the candle's warmth for a longer period of time. You may have already mentioned this, but if you did, I missed it. :) I'm also glad that you mentioned the proper temperatures for adding the fragrance oil and for pouring - that's helpful for newbies, too, because it makes a big difference. Anyway, thanks again!
New sub here Hi!
Amazing
What’s the foil for?
Super useful info! Thank you very much.
I can't imagine how much foil you would go through to continue to do that. I have a hot plate I keep on super low to just to hold a warm temp and I place my candles on there. Maybe it's the wax I use but I can pour them into a cold jar and they are just fine. No tunneling, no sink holes. I wonder why that is....because keeping vessels warm is a very important part of candle making. This is a great idea for anyone having problems I suppose. But just more cost in materials.
Awesome!
I want to thank you for sharing your information. Using the foil has saved me a lot of time my candles have come out beautifully! Thanks again!😊
Wow thats crazy. All too common in the US which is a shame.
