Easily one of my favorite tracks in the entire game. The main beat at the start almost sounds like a military March. The question is who's doing the marching. SHODANS army of unstoppable, robots and cyborgs? Or you?.

This is slightly reminiscent of that Alien Isolation OST: track 24 - "Encounters" (although that one is definitely darker than this one). Such a vibe.

I love how in most late game tracks there’s a guitar to represent the hacker, but it isn’t here, you’re in SHODAN’s experiment lab, there is no humanity to be found.

those guitar riffs (like the one at 0:00) fading away while the combat theme blends back into the exploration theme are just oomph, they've sent goosebumps down my spine every time. The sound director of the remake is a genius

Original System Shock: Upbeat electronic music from an era when videogames where simple. System Shock Remale: Cinematic ambient music that represents how much gaming industry becomed more than just an entertainment.

Hearing this track while listening to the Diego log about how he wishes to be spared by SHODAN, offering to be the spreader of her divinity and selling out the location of the resistance was absolutely haunting. That, and the contrast between the elegant rooms filled with gold and expensive goods and the corpses and blood everywhere. Executive may be my favorite level this far, next to Research and Medical

I love how all of it sounds like computer noises and ambiance, it feels like its something the havker would actually hear after all day of smashing mutants heads in and chipping in while in the zone

Without a doubt the OST captures the core essence for the original game without being tied to it. There's a confusing wireframe-space / Descent feel to the cyberspace that is totally William Gibson's vision for cyberspace. I believe they faithfully reproduced the "at the time" expectations for how virtual space would be presented to a Decker. Then somehow melded it into a modern take on how cyberspace would appear to a modern FPS player post-Gibson. Well done...

This song gave me PTSD because I used it as my ringtone for years.

If only the intro song did not change after 0:45 . The first 45 seconds sound like trance to me and are amazing .

I love they somehow managed to make the swirly sound when going through a "vent" integrate very well in the actual soundtrack. Still sad we lost the "combat" music tho

I am in absolute awe of this hidden masterpiece of OST I unknowingly came to explore after a comment in a Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST playlist video. I'm always on the lookout for music of this genre/kind and I'm SO glad to have found this playlist (thanks for it!). If any other user has any recommendations as to more music of the like, I'm all ears :)

This is amazing when it plays after you go through the 8th floor, blow up the reactor and separate the bridge.

oh man that guitar, this game uses guitars well, but man I love this implementation, makes you really want to reflect on the horrors that SHODAN has caused on citadel station, with a whole human resistance being beat by a single machine, using them to become stronger.
