Funny how people talk about " maybe FSB forcing Kasperky to create backdoor" - what is EXACTLY what the USA DID regarding all the western software and that with clear target: everyone.
Big difference I see at first test is, that Bitdefender tells you afterwards "Everything is fine", while Kasperky tells you, that your system is at risk.
I havent had a virus or malware on windows in over 15 years 💪
I don't know why but my instant reaction to something like this is: How can I trust it? As it could quite easily see current webpages you are on or applications you're typing passwords into, and then hide its ip: protocol transaction with a server... but it's probably fine 👀
Windows IS the malware
Where is Webroot, TrendMicro etc?
Can the speed of your computer alter the effectiveness of Windows Defender's cloud protection in mass-threat scenarios like this by changing its ability to keep up with the malware executions? If so you should do a video where you share the specs of your test machine and run a test like this on multiple computers in different performance brackets to illustrate the difference.
Ey its the first time ive seen in the second you said "please like and share" that the buttons for liking glow up. Is that a marker you need to set on youtube or does youtube detect when you say that in the video? :O

Botnets don’t require higher privileges to function, regardless of the os. This was the case back then in the xp era with Trojan viruses.
12:16 It directly says there, right in the thing you moused-over in the UI, that "ESET Live Grid must be enabled for Ransomware Shield to function properly".
the simple reason why there are so much more cve‘s for linux than windows is simply because of its open source nature its much easier to spot those issues while on windows its a sleeping beast that when it wakes up will catch everyone with their guard down
No its because the numbers were presented in an extremely misleading way All of the debian versions are grouped into one while all the windows versions are displayed separately If you add up all the windows vulnerabilities it come to 24,875 far surpassing any of the linux distros on the list
Whatever your OS, if you download software anywhere you are going to have problems... As for your vulnerability table @1:48 it is more than questionable. Debian 12 (Stable) does not contain 8755 security vulnerabilities !!! The figure of 8755 flaws that you put forward is the sum of all the flaws of all the variants of Debian and it counts the same flaws several times if they are present in several versions... Debian is made up of several branches, Debian Odl (11), Debian Stable (12), Deban Backports (manual update possible for Debian Stable), and development versions namely Debian Testing (future version 13), Debian Unstable (pre-testing) and Debian Experimental (pre-Unstable). However, it is completely normal that development versions like Debian Testing, Unstable and Experimental are more impacted by bugs and security vulnerabilities. If this table were honest, as for Debian it should group together all the vulnerabilities of all variants of the Windows OS's still in use, as well as flaws in development versions which are not public at Microsoft. And Fedora should also include all security bugs/flaws from Red Hat and Cent OS, since they belong to the same editor Red Hat. Fedora is a preview of what Cent OS will be in the future which is itself a preview of what RedHat will be in the future.
Using mouse on Linux.
For an OS where you install everything with a terminal, is mostly open source and has almost no security software how hard did you think it would be? they said the same for IOS and Mac saying they were imposible to hack but it was quite possible! switching to linux is not ideal for the average person and if you are concerned with microsoft recall you can just forcefully turn off telemetry or get a striped down version of windows like tiny 11 and most peoples computers can't support recall anyways so what's the problem.
The main difference between windows malwares and linux malwares : On windows, YOU are the target On Linux, whatever is running on the server IS the target -- or your system is simply now part of a hacker arsenal. Virus and malwares are engineered to either target mass or specific services/orgs/websites. Also, "Debian" is #1 because the list does not take into account debian versions. You'll find malwares from the very first version of Debian up to today's Debian 12. Windows are listed by version. Tl;dr: windows still has more virus than any other distro, mainly because it's the OS that majority of people are running as their daily driver, even in corporations. YOU CAN get viruses/malwares on Linux, but if you install packages the recommended way you're less likely to get a virus -- a.k.a. installing packages with your package manager, which are managed by the distro's maintainer. Windows just recently added their "package manager" - a.k.a. microsoft store - but MOST users still downloads from a google search. Tl;dr: As a linux user, you're less likely to get malwares or virus than on windows since linux malwares tend to target servers, thus tends to be hidden in tools regular users don't even know exists. You should also always download packages from your package manager, as these are monitored by a team before making it to the distro's repo.
Still no MacOS in testing
I want to see the Roguekiller antimalware software from France testing. It is really good even Malwarebytes can't catch the Hkey registry virus, Roguekiller catch it even I used the Malwarebytes since 2014.
"Any OS can be secure of you tried hard enough "
I have dumb appliences.
What I really, Really, REALLY want to see is a Hosts list that blocks all these f***ing ads on CZcams. Especially since CZcams has broken the ad skip button on older browsers, forcing you to reload the page to skip the damn ad.
he got a forkbomb lol
Interesting. Everyboday says that Windows Defender is enough and that third-party antiviruses are just bloatwares at best. After seeing this video, I definitey want to learn more about the topic.
This no longer works! You have to remember, Microsoft is greedy, not stupid! They watch CZcams too!
I hate that stupid news feed, why is everyone so hellbent on sending news down your f**** neck? Don't want t to know.
worthless dont tell you who is on your network
Does this apply to windows 10
Great Video - love the simple setting you shared at Settings->Show or Hide Feeds 4:18 (easy when you know how and unfortunately I didn't) and the ControlD software which I will look at shortly. Thanks for Sharing!
Man, thanks for this video.
Will those viruses for Linux work on ARM architecture? Thanks
sorry one doubt remained, does this program replace a regular firewall? Should i disable my current firewall to install it?
The OS doesn't matter. What matters is how hardened the OS is. We should be having to soften our software - not harden them.
What company can [ritect me from this?
At last a balanced view on malware comparison between Windows and Linux. I've used Windows for over 30 years without any malware problems. For the last month I've used Linux as an experiment if I can go without Windows because I'm pissed of at Microsoft heavily promoting Windows 11 which my gaming laptop can't run. This laptop is to good to be landfill! When my laptop dies I will buy a gaming laptop with Windows 11. But for now my 8 year old machine will suffice!
Based on the comments, this seems to be a pretty shit video that didn’t haven’t much research put into it and came across as more of a rant than anything
This is a highly suspicious video, you show a website that shows debian having the highest number of vulnerabilities, yet you didn't even mention that they class every package that debian provides as a vulnerability, which includes apps like firefox, chromium, thunderbird and so on, not to mention I bet those vulnerabilities go back a couple of decades on debian, in reality you're an order of magnitude safer on linux than you are on windows.
Moral of the story: don't download random shit of the internet, always look for official and trusted source which linux always does better and makes easy to do.
Bye bye bitdefnder...and that's because of some superiors...
They're looking for it bad...
this doesn't seem to work anymore
