Do use grease for the barrel when installing it?
No grease or lube required.
You start with the 13.5" upper, then demo a piston install on a 9.5" upper. This might have the viewer think they can put a piston barrel on the 13.5", but it won't fit. Might need to clarity that you must use a 9.5" or shovelnose.
I will soon hold one in my hand when joining the Estonian Defence Forces.
Purchased an LMT 14.5 carbine DI upper at a local "large" FFL. The barrel was marked 1/9. Contacted their customer service and the guy with international sales (name withheld) was an ass. Told me they don't ship 1/9, the FFL hadn't purchased much, etc. Got one of the owners (who is a stocking dealer) to pull up the purchase order from LMT directly for 5 uppers that mine was one of. The LMT rep says "Well, I didn't take, fill, or ship that order, BUT it is an LMT and we will warranty and issues but it will be with a 1/7 barrel." If customer service trash talks a stocking dealer, and denies their own product, I can't stand by them any longer. MRP's, Defenders, and builds, I've never had any issues with, but this was a shocking experience. If a 1/9 twist barrel made it out by mistake, it should have been owned.

Absolutely love my recently purchased Specwar 12.5”. Would absolutely jump at the chance to be able to come to something like this.
I have a LMT MRP 5.56 16" and if i was wanting to buy an shorter barrel/upper and the new one didnt fit and i had to grind the bump down. Does that mean my original wouldn't fit as good?
If I need an install a bigger barrel?
Same process is used for all length barrels. Depending on the type of upper, you may be limited to the shortness of the barrel length or operating system.

Well i sure hate to tell you guys this however i actually own this 6.5 got it from ironside i absolutely love it not and single issue... Let me be clear i own several knights and got the itch for a 14.5 6.5 so i gave LMT a try i so happy i did love the setup .. i hope you guys don't miss a opportunity to get a dam fine peice of equipment but hey i got mine 😅😂

Would love if you guys started shipping metal mags with your mars h rifles. 147 eld is too long for pmags and feeds unreliably in my experience.
Have you tried the M118 magazine from Magpul?

Limited? I'm pretty sure ALL of your products are "limited" because they are never in stock anywhere. Also, when they are in stock, the QA/QC on said parts is poor at best. I can't wait until the patent on the monolithic rail is up so someone else with a clue can build a monolithic rifle worth buying.
Imagine buying an LMT in 2024 knowing how crap their quality control is. Remember when you sold me a gun with a bad bolt catch/release and your rep didn't even know what it was (thought it was a Bolt Carrier Group), and then you sold a 300BLK Barrel that hadn't been properly chambered and you said that "you knew that a bad run had gotten out there, but didn't properly track them"? Well, I do.

QC is terrible right now. I had to send in an enhanced BCG, and when they sent it back, the gas key was loose.
Maybe you could do a limited run where the lines on your forgings match up as good as Anderson o_o

Facts. I have 2 of their rifles and neither one line up right. Also, neither one as accurate at my super duties.
My Mega-Arms receiver lines are incredible, wish LMT would get on board.

Negative, only reference rifles will ship with iron sights if they are specified in the original contract.

The piston system utilizes gas much differently than the DI. Compared to other piston systems, the LMT is already one of the smoother shooting, combat gassed units. When it comes to an AR platform and shooting suppressed, you either need to invest in a low blow back can, or learn to love the smell of carbon. That is really the nature of the weapon system.
