As an Addict ,I can relate to my brain not allowing me to critically think. IMO, and my experience. An addicted person's mind becomes ruled by only the subconscious and overtakes let's talk to your conscious mind.🤔

I’ve walked through some pretty dark times and some pretty exhilarating times in my life. In each and every experience, God has always been there. I don’t always feel it when I’m going through it, but when I look back at anything that I’ve gone through, I see His handiwork. He is with us and will never leave us. And he promised that he will continue to do the good work on us until the day that Jesus comes. That’s the day that I anticipate!

Thank you for sharing your stories. I have come alongside people that God brought into my life that had cancer.....great friendship had developed over the course of time, we prayed together, cried together. I know the greatest thing we can do is love people well and see what God is doing. It's a beautiful privilege to be present with people. Shine well, love well. ❤

I come to this knowing less than I probably should and with in my opinion a very simple mind. I know that God knows of my limited knowledge, my ways of doing things based on those limitations and accepts me for who I am and how he knows I feel. So maybe I don't "pray right," or say all of the things I think of later and wish I had said during a prayer. But again, I have faith that God knows my intentions and accepts them and me even though I often feel I fall short.

Maybe earlier it was the Father Son and Holy Spirit but according to Peter the supposed author of Acts 2:38 ( I believe Paul wrote acts ) just saying.
